Starbucks Pink Drink – Healthy Matcha, Strawberry & Coconut Milk?

Starbucks is constantly coming up with new drinks for the seasons, for major events, or just to celebrate the holidays. In fact, they have a secret menu that allows you to try out completely different drinks than you could’ve imagined. However, there’s nothing secret about their newest beverage, which is simply named the Pink Drink.

About The Starbucks Pink Drink

Recently released to the public on April 10th, the Pink Drink offers a refreshing quality that you will want to enjoy as the heat of summer starts to settle in. This drink is based on coconut milk, which is blended with passion fruit for sweet flavor that isn’t overwhelming. To help balance out this combination of ingredients, it also includes acai and a topping of strawberries, which will give you just as many health benefits as you have flavor.

You may be surprised to learn that this permanent spot on the menu comes after it debuted last spring, though it wasn’t called the Pink Drink by name. Instead, it was introduced as an alternative to another drink that offers the same recipe, but with water instead of coconut milk. However, due to the wide acceptance of this drink and the beautiful fading of the pink and white, it’s easy to see why it gained a spot on the current menu.

In a 16-ounce serving, or a Grande, you will consume 140 calories, and is filled with 20 grams of sugar. However, due to the blend that is included in this drink, you will end up with 25% of the daily vitamin C you need, along with 10% of your needed calcium.

How to Get the Starbucks Pink Drink

You can order the Pink Drink in any size from your local Starbucks, though you can also get this drink on Mobile Order & Pay. While no price is listed, you should expect to pay around the same amount that you normally would cover for a refresher drink, which ranges from about $3 to $6, depending on the size.
