Big news from Beachbody today as the company announced it has partnered with Wahoo Fitness to bring biometric feedback workouts to the market.
Beachbody is one of the world’s largest fitness video companies, responsible for such brands as P90X and the 21 Day Shred. By partnering, Beachbody Wahoo Fitness plans to take their workout experience to the next level.
The news was announced in a press release on November 3, 2016.
Wahoo is best known for its TICKR X Heart Rate Monitor. In the press release, the company announced plans to pair the TICKR X Heart Rate Monitor with the Beachbody On Demand App and Premium Fitness Content, allowing Beachbody users to work out in more ways than ever before.
The press release refers to Wahoo as “a market leader in real-time heart rate monitoring”.
Beachbody and TICKR X Bundle Now Available for Sale at Apple Stores
Santa Monica-based Beachbody has announced that the Beachbody On Demand & TICKR X Bundle is now available exclusively from Apple.com and at Apple Stores across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Beachbody is announcing the package as a “unique, first-of-its-kind digital fitness package”. Your package purchase gives you one TICKR X heart rate monitor along with a one year subscription to Beachbody On Demand for your Apple device – including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.
As the press release explains, this “equips users with the tools necessary to better understand their work-out efforts, stay motivated and on track, and optimally reach their goals.”
The bundle is priced at $149.95 USD. It’s currently only available through Apple, although it will be available at other retailers in the near future. For now, Beachbody is only saying that it “will initially be sold exclusively on Apple.com”.

Wahoo Fitness is a tech fitness company that has created a number of different sensors and devices for active individuals. It has launched devices for runners, cyclists, and other fitness enthusiasts.
Some of the most popular products available through the company include the TICKR X, TICKR Run, and TICKR, all of which track your fitness data via Bluetooth while trying to find out “what makes you tick” (hence the name).
