Axon Labs NEXUS – Advanced Aniracetam Nootropic Stack Blend?

on

Nexus Advanced Nootropic Stack is a nootropic created by the team at Axon Labs. Find out how it works today in our Nexus review.

What Is Axon Labs NEXUS Advanced Nootropic Stack?

Axon Labs NEXUS Advanced Nootropic Stack is a nootropic smart drug priced at $60 for a one month supply. The formula combines multiple popular nootropic ingredients into one convenient capsule.

By taking the supplement regularly, you can boost short-term memory and enhance long-term cognition.

In fact, Axon Labs calls their supplement “the most advanced nootropic in the world’, and claims it can improve “both cognitive performance and maximum long-term brain function”.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at how Nexus Advanced Nootropic Stack claims to work.

How Does Nexus Advanced Nootropic Stack Work?

Unlike other nootropic supplements, Nexus Advanced Nootropic Stack doesn’t overwhelm you with dozens of nootropic ingredients. Instead, the company has focused on just four key ingredients.

Those ingredients are packaged into a 1250mg formula (there’s 1250mg in each 2 capsule serving). We don’t know the individual breakdowns of each ingredient – which makes it difficult to assess their effects.

Nexus Advanced Nootropic Stack Ingredients

However, here’s a brief overview of each ingredient and why it was added to the stack:

Aniracetam 1250mg

One of the best known nootropics available today, aniracetam works by modulating AMPA excitatory receptors while also decreasing the rate of receptor desensitization. In layman’s terms, that means your brain can form short-term memories more easily.

Aniracetam also works by promoting blood flow to the part of your brain used for higher level processing and holistic thinking (the association cortex, to be specific).

CDP Choline & Phosphatidylserine

These two ingredients work hand-in-hand to optimize brain function. CDP choline is vital for short-term memory as well as brain speed and acceleration.

Phosphatidylserine, meanwhile, increases the activation of AMPA receptors to strengthen the connections between your neurons. CDP choline is actively being researched for use as an Alzheimer’s treatment.

Pycnogenol

Pycnogenol is a registered trademark formula made from French pine bark extract. The formula can be found in a wide variety of products – including everything from nutritional supplements to anti-aging skin creams.

Pycnogenol works primarily by acting as an antioxidant. Axon Labs claims that “research has shown that Pycnogenol improves both numerical and spatial working memory, and can increase test scores in college studies”.

Nexus Advanced Nootropic Stack doesn’t go into a lot of detail about its ingredients. All four of the active ingredients are packaged inside a proprietary formula, which means we don’t know the individual dosages.

Here’s what the label tells us for each two capsule serving:

  • Advanced Nootropic Blend: 1250mg of Aniracetam, CDP Choline, Phosphatidylserine, Pycnogenol
  • Other Ingredients: Vegetable capsule, cellulose, vegetable stearate, silica

The manufacturer recommends you take 1 to 2 capsules in the morning. You should not exceed 2 capsules per day.

Axon Labs NEXUS Pricing

Here’s how pricing works on the official website:

  • One Time Purchase (60 Capsules / 30 Servings): $60
  • Subscription (Delivered Monthly): $55.20

Will Axon Labs NEXUS Work?

Nexus has one big problem with its formula. Yes, it uses good, popular nootropic ingredients. However, the company doesn’t disclose the individual dosage of those ingredients.

That’s a problem. Because the typical dose for aniracetam is 750 to 1500mg. There’s 1250mg total in Nexus. How much of that formula is aniracetam? Your guess is as good as mine.

Meanwhile, CDP choline is taken at a dose between 250 and 750mg, with some people even recommending a dose between 500 and 2000mg.

Ultimately, Nexus appears to use the right ingredients – but the dosing isn’t quite as powerful as we’d like to see, especially when you’re paying $60 for 30 servings. You may be able to put your own stack together with higher dosages and a cheaper price.

That doesn’t mean Nexus is a bad nootropic. However, it may not be suited for experienced nootropic users.

Axon Labs NEXUS Advanced Nootropic Stack Summary

Ultimately, Nexus has 1250mg of proven nootropic ingredients. The ingredients have also been specifically chosen because they stack well together. Many people stack aniracetam with CDP choline and phosphatidylserine, for example.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the individual ingredient breakdowns in Nexus. We have no idea how much aniracetam you’re putting into your body with each capsule. In the nootropics community, dosing is extremely important – especially in a stack.

Considering the high price tag of Nexus ($60 for 30 servings), we would have liked to have seen more transparent labeling.
