What is Xooma?
Xooma is a multilevel marketing company that was founded all the way back in 2005. The company sells a number of nutritional supplements based on “cutting-edge nutritional science” and “premium quality ingredients.”
The products include flagship supplements like X20 (“X two oh”), which is a powder that comes in the form of a satchel. You stir that powder into a glass of water in order to increase the hydrating power of water.
The company has a compensation plan similar to other multilevel marketing companies. You can earn commissions of about 20% on all retail sales while also making money by recruiting other people. To join the company, you’ll need to order at least $100 of Xooma products every month.
What Does Xooma Sell?
Xooma sells a total of 30 different nutritional products including everything from protein powders to energy drinks to multivitamin supplements.
Xooma claims that all of these products are manufactured in the United States – although supplements like X20 use a mineral complex found in Japan. Out of the 30 supplements currently sold by Xooma, 8 are considered to be part of the “premier product” lineup. Those 8 products include:
X20 is the Xooma flagship product. You drop an X20 satchel into a bottle of water, then shake for 10 to 15 seconds. After 5 minutes, your ordinary water will have transformed into “X20” water.
X20 water promises to have a higher alkalinity than ordinary tap water. This can help balance your body’s pH levels.
The water also optimizes hydration “at the cellular level” by delivering electrolytes into your water – kind of like how Gatorade and other sports drinks work.
Each satchel of X20 also includes a blend of 70 minerals, including calcium and magnesium. Xooma claims your body needs these minerals every day to stay healthy, and adding them to your water is a great way to get your daily recommended requirements.
FocusUP is an energy-boosting formula that comes in the form of a powder or in fast-acting capsules. It promises to improve your focus, memory, mood, concentration, and cognitive performance. It also claims to help you avoid the jitters and anxiety associated with coffee and energy drinks.
Key ingredients in FocusUP include vitamin B12 (833% of your daily value) and a blend of acetyl-L carnitine, green tea leaf extract (which includes caffeine), DMAE, Huperzine-A, and Stevia.
The main effects of FocusUP come from the caffeine and vitamin B12 – two compounds that you’ll typically find in energy drinks. Huperzine-A, however, has been shown to work as a powerful nootropic compound and boost your cognition and memory.
Natural Cellection is a multivitamin supplement that come in the form of a powder. You stir that powder into a small amount of water and drink it to support your overall health every day.
Key ingredients of Natural Cellection include 2500 IU of vitamin D3 (625% of your daily value), 500 mcg of thiamine, or vitamin B1 (33% daily value) and a whopping 1500 mcg of vitamin B12 (25,000% of your daily value).
Before you start wondering how your body can absorb 25,000% of your daily value of vitamin B12, it can’t. Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin, which means that most of those 1500 mcg will pass through your body and appear in your urine without being absorbed.
KardiaXyme promises to boost your cardiovascular health by acting as an antioxidant, removing free radicals and toxins from the body.
Specific ingredients include vitamin D3 (500% of your daily value) as well as calcium (10% daily value), and magnesium (1% daily value).
Together, these ingredients are purported to promote vasodilation, reduce plaque buildup, and increase the elasticity of your vascular lining. All of these things reduce your risk for heart disease.
The MetaboWize System consists of three key products that promise to help you lose weight. Those three products include:
— AM Formula
— PM Formula
— Protein Fiber Shake
The AM formula is taken first thing in the morning. It kickstarts your metabolism for the day.
The PM formula relieves stress at night and helps you fall asleep using high levels of melatonin. This allows your body to repair itself throughout the day – which is important if you’re exercising regularly while trying to lose weight.
Finally, the Protein Fiber Shake has two goals: use fiber to cleanse your digestive tract and provide your body with the protein it needs to build lean muscles. Each serving contains 20 grams of protein. You can order it in two flavors: vanilla and chocolate.
Chocolate Fix is a chocolate drink mix made from natural and organic ingredients. Each serving comes with 5 grams of pure cocoa in every serving.
Chocolate has been shown to be beneficial in small doses. It promotes cardiovascular health and better blood circulation. It can also reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol while raising HDL (good) cholesterol.
Xooma claims you can mix Chocolate Fix it with “cold water, milk, almond milk, coconut milk, rice milk or soy milk.”
Xooma Blast promises to deliver a “blast” of flavor while delivering high levels of antioxidants into your body. The supplement comes in five different flavors, including Coconut Crush, Cherry Lime, Orange Crave, Grape XCape, and Strawberry Lemonade.
Those antioxidants come from a range of natural ingredients, including natural cane sugar citric acid, grape seed extract, and coffee bean extract.
Silver MAX promises to use something called “Pure Silver Hydrosol” technology to boost your immune system.
Silver hydrosol consists of positively charged silver particles (Ag+) that are purported to boost your immune system and treat temporary illness systems.
Silver was used as a medical tonic in the 1800s. Silver MAX aims to reintroduce the power of silver in a more bioavailable way, increasing its effectiveness. According to Xooma’s product page for Silver MAX, the supplement’s effectiveness has been “corroborated by several universities.”
The Xooma Opportunity
As mentioned above, Xooma is a multilevel marketing company that offers a similar compensation plan to most other MLMs. Before you start earning compensation and commissions, you’ll need to follow this three step plan as outlined at Xooma.com:
Step 1) You and your family need to purchase at least $100 of Xooma products every month, otherwise your membership is immediately canceled
Step 2) You need to personally refer four people to join Xooma and also pay $100 per month
Step 3) You need to encourage those four people to teach other people to duplicate steps one and two
The company also heavily advertises the fact that there are 8 different ways to earn an income. Those eight ways include:
— Rapid Rewards Bonus Plan
— Team Commissions
— Executive Pay Match
— Generational Pay Match
— Cash Back Bonuses
— Direct Sales
— Car Bonus
— Leadership Bonus Pools
Xooma is heavily recruitment-focused. If you’re selling products, however, then you can expect to earn about 20% commissions on every retail sale. Xooma claims this commission can reach as high as 50% per sale for some products and salespeople.
All US Xooma customers get free shipping, and customers outside the United States will need to pay $6.99 for international shipping.
