QOR360 The Darwin, which comes with either a red or a black cushion, incorporates design features that force anyone sitting on it to have correct posture. The chair itself rocks, rolls, rotates and elevates in order to provide high levels of adaptability and comfort.
The core technology behind Darwin is something called the “eccentric bicylinder rocker,” which provides high levels of mobility and adjustability while sitting that leads to better posture.
Who Makes QOR360 The Darwin?
The Darwin is the creation of a company known as QOR360, located in Burlington, Vermont. Founded by Dr. Turner Osler, a career academic trauma surgeon at the University of Vermont Medical Center who wanted to provide a healthier way for people to sit and avoid suffering from not just pain but serious health problems from sitting incorrectly for long periods of time.
Dr. Osler and his team created a whole line of ergonomic products, ranging from simple cushions, stationary office chairs, ones with casters, and even a portable version that can be placed on an existing traditional office chair.

QOR360 The Darwin's seat is made from high-grade wood, which is married to a powder-coated 3/8″ steel frame created with precision from an industrial robot.
The height of the seat can be adjusted by an acme screw, making the chair one-size-fits-all. The seat also features five casters instead of feet, providing for high levels of mobility, ideal in an office setting. All materials are sourced from New England.

The Darwin, and in fact all of QOR360's chairs, don't have much of a review history online. This is likely due to the fact that the company seems to have been launched in October of 2016, making it a relatively brand new player in the ergonomic chair industry.
Pros:
- Eye-Catching Aesthetics – The Darwin is definitely unlike many other ergonomic chairs on the market. Most traditional ergonomic office chairs don't look like works of art, after all; the attention to detail that goes into all of QOR360's products leave them looking like modern art pieces that wouldn't look out of place in a sculpture garden.
- Comparable Pricing – Taking a look at the ergonomic chair market will reveal that the $450 price tag of the Darwin is more or less in line with what you could end up paying for any number of different brand ergonomic chairs, so you're not taking a soaking on the price.
Cons:
- Cheaper Options Exist – That being said, if you're looking for a lower-cost ergonomic option, the Darwin may not be for you.
- However, there are some less-expensive options made by QOR360 that you may want to avail yourself of instead if you're trying to save some money.
Should You Buy the QOR360 The Darwin?
Anyone who spends all day at their computer knows how painful it can be to be slumped in their office chair. Ergonomic chairs are beneficial for office workers, and by all accounts the Darwin seems to offer some innovative ergonomics to make sitting for long periods of time less painful and more healthy.
