NZT 2 Nootropic Review
NZT 2 is a new nootropic supplement released by a company called Paneuromix. Find out why NZT 2 is an upgrade over the original NZT 1 formula today in our review.
What is NZT 2?
NZT 2 is a nootropic supplement that promises most of the same things as other nootoropics: it will boost your memory, enhance your focus, and sharpen your thinking.
NZT 2, as you may have guessed, is an upgrade over the original NZT 1 formula. However, NZT 2 is actually the fourth generation of the NZT formula (there were three versions of the NZT 1 formula, all of which were called NZT 1).
The supplement is made by a Dutch company called Paneuromix.
How Does NZT 2 Work?
The most active ingredient in NZT 2 is Alpha GPC. This is basically an Alpha GPC supplement mixed with smaller amounts of other nootropic compounds.
But this isn’t just any Alpha GPC supplement: here’s what the official manufacturer has to say about NZT 2’s formula:
“NZT.2 contains the highest dosage of Alpha-GPC currently available in a fully balanced formula. This special nutrient is extracted from lecithin and is known for its effective way of boosting acetyl-choline levels in the brain hence improving memory.”
Some of the other key ingredients in NZT 2 include bacopa monnieri, ginkgo biloba, and other well-known nootropic compounds.
NZT 2 Ingredients
The supplement’s manufacturer, Paneuromix, is open and honest about its ingredients list. Here’s the full ingredients chart along with the specific doses and daily values:
As you can see, Alpha GPC is one of several active ingredients in the supplement along with high levels of DMAE, bacopa monnieri, and a proprietary formula called Neuromix.
Here’s why each of the major ingredients was included in NZT 2:
— Alpha GPC: Acts as a precursor to acetylcholine, a valuable brain chemical that functions as the memory neurotransmitter. When you have higher levels of acetylcholine in your brain, it’s easier to store information in your short-term and long-term memory.
— Bacopa Monnieri: This natural herb was used in ancient Ayurvedic (ancient Indian) medicine and is thought to work by targeting parts of the brain using “certain polyphenols” (that’s the official explanation given on Paneuromix.com).
— DMAE: This chemical compound is similar to choline and rests in the membranes of neurons, where it acts as an antioxidant and targets harmful free radicals.
— L-Theanine: This chemical is found in green tea. It’s an amino acid that acts on the brain’s GABA system. Your brain’s GABA system is responsible for producing a calming, soothing effect.
— Phosphatidyl-Serine: Another chemical compound found in the membrane of neurons. Phosphatidyl-serine is thought to work by keeping brain cell membrane walls “flexible”, allowing greater permeability for nutritional compounds.
— Other Herbal Extracts and Vitamins: Rhodiola rosea, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, vitamin B12, and vitamin B6 all affect the brain in similar ways and increase overall mental energy (that’s the real explanation given by the official manufacturer on the NZT 2 sales page).
How to Use NZT 2
The manufacturer recommends you start by taking one capsule in the morning. Over time, increase the dosage to three capsules every morning according to your tolerance.
Some people find that they get a better effect by spreading NZT 2 throughout the day instead of taking it all at once.
Paneuromix also claims you can take up to three extra capsules at one single time “for moments of enhanced mental load.”
The supplement is not designed for anyone under the age of 18. If you are pregnant, nursing, are taking medication, or have a medical condition, you should talk to your doctor before taking NZT 2.
Each package of NZT 2 comes with 30 capsules. If you’re taking 3 capsules every day plus an additional three capsules for times of enhanced mental load, then your package should last about a week.
How to Buy NZT 2
NZT 2 is available online from Paneuromix.com as well as from Amazon.com, where it’s labeled as “NZT-48 Pill, NZT.2 Nootropic”. Here’s how the prices work on both websites:
Paneuromix.com
— NZT.2 Nootropic: 30 Capsules for $30.34 (buy 3 for $20.21 each or buy 6 for $18.84 each)
The official website also offers tax-free orders, free shipping on orders over $50, and an additional 10% discount if you share the product’s sales page on social media. You can pay on the official website by VISA, MasterCard, and PayPal.

Paneuromix has a surprisingly generous return and refund policy. Here’s how the official website describes that policy:
“We are convinced of the quality of our product, that's why we give a 100% satisfaction guarantee up to 3 months after purchase. We do not require the return of unused product for a refund on the first 90 capsules. Beyond the use of the initial 90 capsules we do require the return of product. In this case we will cover the shipping costs for the return shipping.”
In other words, you can request a refund on your first 90 capsules and receive that refund without actually sending anything into the company. If you require a refund on orders beyond 90 capsules, then you’ll need to return the physical product.
About Paneuromix
Paneuromix is the Dutch pharmaceutical company that manufactures NZT 2. The company is based at the following address:
PaneuromixNoorderhaven 51
9712 VJ Groningen
The Netherlands
The company claims to have started its nootropic research in 2011 before officially launching the Paneuromix.com website in 2012.
The Paneuromix.com online store currently only lists two products for sale: the NZT 2 nootropic as well as a multivitamin supplement called Brainfood.1
Should You Buy NZT 2?
NZT 2 is a step above the average nootropic supplement: it’s a powerful (albeit pricey) Alpha GPC supplement that delivers 250mg of Alpha GPC into your body with every capsule. Some people will take NZT 2 as part of a stack (choline stacks wonderfully with more powerful nootropic compounds).
Most people, however, will be happy to take NZT 2 by itself due to its rich mixture of other nootropic compounds – including popular herbals like gingko biloba and bacopa monnieri.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-take, prepackaged nootropic stack, then NZT 2 might be the convenient solution you’re looking for.
