Eucerin Review

Eucerin is a skin care company which offers a wide range of moisturizers and creams. Learn everything you need to know about Eucerin and its product lineup today in our Eucerin review.

What is Eucerin?

Eucerin

Eucerin is a skin care brand introduced in 1902. The brand is currently owned by German personal care giant Beiersdorf, which owns other major skin care brands like Nivea and Elastoplast.

The brand was launched by Dr. Isaac Lifschuetz, who developed a special ointment base in 1900. That ointment base consisted of Eucerit (also known as Lanolin) and Emulgator. Two years later, Lifschuetz had a patent for his cream and named it Eucerin.

Today, Eucerin sells a diverse range of skin care products, including all-purpose moisturizers, baby skin moisturizers, and even moisturizers for diabetics.

Eucerin Product Lineup

Eucerin separates its product lineup into 9 different categories. Below, you’ll find a description of each category as well as the products within.

Diabetics’ Dry Skin Relief

These skin creams are rich with alpha hydroxy and claim to noticeably moisturize and soften skin after just one single use. There’s a Body Cream, a Body Lotion, and a Foot Crème.

Eucerin Baby

These skin creams provide gentle skin care for babies, including babies with eczema or those who suffer from dry, itchy skin and irritations. Specific products include Baby Eczema Relief Instant Therapy Crème, Baby Cleansing Relief Body Wash, and Baby Eczema Relief Body Crème.

Eczema Relief

Relieve dry, itchy skin with Eucerin’s two eczema relief compounds, including Body Crème and Instant Therapy Crème.

Eucerin Calm

Eucerin’s “Calm” lineup provides immediate and preventative relief to soothe and moisturize dry, itchy, irritated skin throughout the body.

Soothe

Soothe your skin with rich emollients that repair and protect dry and sensitive skin. Specific products include the Original Healing Soothing Repair Lotion and the Original Healing Soothing Repair Crème.

Repair

Eucerin’s repairing solutions smooth and repair dry, very dry, and rough skin. They include five different products, including Very Dry, Extremely Dry, and Dry skin lotions, as well as a hand and foot crème.

Daily Moisture

These daily moisturizers provide 24-hour moisture to replenish, strengthen, and protect skin. There are two different Eucerin moisturizers, including the Daily Replenishing Moisturizing Lotion and the Daily Protection SPF 15 Moisturizing Body Lotion.

Face Care

Eucerin’s Face Care lineup relieves redness and softens wrinkles while protecting your skin from the sun. They’re designed to be unique and gentle products “for healthy looking skin that glows.”

Aquaphor

Eucerin’s Aquaphor lineup of facial products include specially formulated gentle baby washes and multi-purpose skin therapies to soothe chapped lips and heal dry, cracked, and irritated skin.

Popular Eucerin Products

Certain Eucerin products are more popular than others. The Original Healing Soothing Repair Crème, for example, is used by many people to protect sensitive skin.

The Daily Protection Moisturizing Face Lotion with SPF 30 is also popular. For $9.99, it will protect your face using microfine zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.

Eucerin is also popular among diabetics for its dry skin relief solutions. Diabetics are more likely to experience cracked, rough skin than non-diabetics. According to Eucerin’s official website, 94% of tested customers with diabetes agree that Diabetics’ Dry Skin Relief Body Crème smoothes cracked, rough skin.

Where to Buy Eucerin Products

Eucerin products are available at most major retail outlets. At the official Eucerin website, you can enter your zip code to find a store near you.

You can also buy Eucerin products online at Amazon, Walmart, Target, CVS, and Walgreens.

The Skindicator Quiz

Overwhelmed by the number of products listed above?

That’s okay. Eucerin’s official website, EucerinUS.com, features something called the “Skindicator” quiz. You can fill out this quiz to learn which skin care product would be perfect for your needs.

Eucerin asks questions like:

— How moist or dry is your skin?

— Which skin condition best applies to you? (Rosacea, eczema, itchiness, psoriasis, sun damage, etc.)

That’s it, really. To get your results, however, you’ll have to give Eucerin your first and last name and enter your email address into the online form. Then, your Skindicator results will be emailed to you.

Other Eucerin Website Features

The official Eucerin does more than just sell you official Eucerin products. You’ll also find tips and tricks for skin care. There are two major sections: Skin Health and Skin Wisdom. Under these sections, you’ll find an introduction to skin care and detailed information about caring for your skin.

You can learn how to protect your skin against the sun, cold, and pH balance, for example. You can also see how to treat specific skin conditions, like rosacea or keratosis pilaris.

The Skin Wisdom section, on the other hand, is a blog. Unfortunately, that blog hasn’t been updated since 2012, so Eucerin doesn’t seem to be as active online as it once was.

Ultimately, Eucerin is one of the world’s most popular skin care brands. Available across America and the world, you can find powerful Eucerin moisturizers and body creams at a store near you.
