CIZE by Beachbody Review

CIZE by Beachbody is a new fitness training program that involves using high-intensity dance moves to become slimmer, fitter, and healthier.

What is CIZE by Beachbody?

CIZE by Beachbody is a dance routine-based workout created by celebrity personal trainer Shaun T.

The sales copy for the workout claims that “The end of exerCIZE is here”, so that’s where the name CIZE comes from.

The fitness program comes in the form of three DVDs. You buy the DVDs for around $75, including shipping and handling. No, this is not a cheap fitness training program.

The training program promises to be accessible to anyone: even if you think you can’t dance, you can get in shape with CIZE.

There are a total of six workouts (called “dance courses”) included across the three DVDs.

Who is Shaun T?

Shaun T is a personal trainer who has worked with a wide range of celebrities. He also has an extensive dance background. Shaun has performed in Broadway musicals, films, and TV shows and has toured with Mariah Carey and other pop artists.

After creating successful training programs like Insanity and Focus T25, Shaun decided to make a fun, dance-based workout.

How Does CIZE by Beachbody Work?

CIZE consists of six dance courses spread across three DVDs. The courses increase in difficulty as you progress. The six dance courses include:

— Crazy 8s
— You Got This
— Full out
— In the Pocket
— Go For It
— Living in the 8s

The dance routines are set to songs by major artists, including Bruno Mars, Destiny’s Child, Ariana Grande, Missy Elliot, and Sia. The songs aren’t the original songs – they’re covers. The DVDs say things like “Originally recorded by Ariana Grande”.

In any case, you move through the dance levels to improve your fitness. If you’re worried about not getting enough of a workout through dance moves, then Shaun T has this to say:

“Don't call it a workout. But great dancing the way we've designed it is hard work. The more you get into it, the more you'll get out of it. You WILL drip sweat. And you WON'T stop moving. Performing these pulse-pounding, thrilling routines is serious cardiovascular conditioning, core strengthening, and overall muscle toning—all at once.”

It’s a full body workout that lasts for about 40 minutes with few breaks in between. If you get bored running on the treadmill for an hour, but still want to get in shape, then CIZE can help you do that.

What’s Included with CIZE?

CIZE includes a few bonus gifts along with the DVDs. Here’s what you get with each purchase of CIZE:

3 DVDs: containing 6 dance-based workout routines

Get Started Guide: 30 day step-by-step guide to controlling your fitness and diet as you progress through CIZE

Eat Up! Meal Plan: Learn how to get a “dancer’s body” by eating the right meals. This book includes recipes that let you incorporate your favorite foods while losing weight at the same time.

Beginner Calendar: Track your progress with this calendar, which lets you go from “Backup Dancer” to “Front and Center” to “Ready for My Music Video” as you move through the levels

Advanced Calendar: This calendar features more structure to let you know which courses to do on which days in order to keep progressing through the levels

Weekend Survival Guide: This brief guide explains the do’s and don’ts for a night out on the town so you can have fun without sacrificing your hard work

8 Count Abs Workout: Improve your core strength and get 8 pack abs (which are obviously better than 6 pack abs) with the help of Shaun T

24/7 Online Support: All CIZE purchases come with “world-class support” including fitness and nutrition tips and live chats with Shaun T himself

How to Buy CIZE

CIZE is available from the official Beachbody website (Beachbody.com). At that site, you’ll see the program advertised as costing “just three monthly payments of $19.95”.

That price isn’t totally honest: you’ll also need to pay an additional $12.95 for shipping and handling, which is one of the most expensive shipping and handling prices I’ve ever seen for a workout DVD.

That brings the total cost up to $72.80. If you want to receive your workout DVD in 2-4 business days (instead of 3-5), then you can pay an additional $9.95 for shipping.

If that price seems high to you, then Beachbody counters by saying that “It could cost you well over $60 to learn any one of these routines in a studio.”

You can choose to spread the payment out over 3 months or you can pay the full amount today.

All Beachbody orders also come with a 30 day moneyback guarantee. If you’re not happy with your purchase for any reason, Beachbody will let you return your DVDs for your full money back (minus the costs of shipping and handling).
