22 Minute Hard Corps Review
22 Minute Hard Corps is a new video-based fitness training program made by Tony Horton and Beachbody. Here’s our review.
What is 22 Minute Hard Corps?
22 Minute Hard Corps is a video-based fitness training program created by Tony Horton and Beachbody.
The program promises to help you get fit in 22 minutes by teaching you military-style training exercises. By following the lessons in 22 Minute Hard Corps for 8 weeks, you can transform your body and achieve your fitness goals – or at least, that’s the claim made by the creators of the program.
The program is priced at $39.90.
How Does 22 Minute Hard Corps Work?
22 Minute Hard Corps claims that it’s inspired by the “no-nonsense simplicity of basic training’. The program works by teaching you fitness exercises of increasing levels of difficulty over an 8 week period.
The program promises that the exercises are “proven, basic, military-inspired training” capable of transforming your body and giving you epic results.
The core of the program includes:
— 3 Resistance Workouts
— 3 Cardio Workouts
— 2 Core Workouts
Every workout in the program is set to a cadence – just like you would experience at military-style boot camps. Your goal is to keep up with that cadence.
Another unique distinction of the 22 Minute Hard Corps program is that all the people in the videos are veterans. You know the people in exercise videos copying the routines from the personal trainer? Yes, every single one of those people in 22 Minute Hard Corps is a veteran.
22 minutes may not sound like a lengthy workout. But you can expect that workout to feel like it lasts twice as long. The workouts are inspired by military training exercises and promise to push your body to the limits to give you maximum results.
Who is Tony Horton?
Tony Horton is the creator of the 22 Minute Hard Corps training program.
You may recognize Horton’s name from P90X, P90X2, and P90X3. He has created a number of popular training programs over the years – many of which were released through Beachbody, which is the company publishing 22 Minute Hard Corps.
What’s Tony’s connection to the military? Tony is not a veteran himself. However, he claims to have toured “dozens of military bases all over the world” over the past 15 years. During military base visits, he provides fitness training to the troops.

I just started yesterday, I have a heart condition so I have to modify some of what I do. Even though I went at my own pace I still felt the sweat and could feel a difference in my body.
I have just started this workout and I can tell you that although, short on time, it’s tough. The toughest part is keeping up the cadence. At 65, it’s a bit of a challenge but the nice thing about Tony’s workouts is that he always has modifiers and reminds us that form over function.
