Track My Stack Review

TrackMyStack is a new online tool that helps you make informed decisions about your health by tracking all of the supplements you’re putting into your body. Here’s our Track My Stack review.

What is TrackMyStack?

Track My Stack is an online service that promises to help you “make informed decisions about your health”.

To do that, Track My Stack lets you create a stack, record your progress, and share your experience with others through the community.

The goal of Track My Stack is to build a comprehensive catalog of some of the best stacks in the world.

The site is particularly popular among nootropic users, and some of the most popular stacks on the site include the “Basic energy stack” and “Study-Focus-Recall” stack. However, the site also has stacks like the “BODY Build” for bodybuilders and the Anti-Aging stack.

What is a Stack?

Many people aren’t familiar with the term “stack”.

Stack is a slang term for a set of multiple treatments, supplements, or medications that you’re taking simultaneously to achieve a health goal or treat a condition.

It’s called a stack because the treatments, supplements, and medications are being “stacked” on top of one another.

For example, one nootropic stack listed on Track My Stack lists 250mg of Alpha GPC, 300mg of Adrafinil, and 100mg of Phenylpiracetam. By taking these three ingredients in one stack daily, you can purportedly boost your memory and recall.

Some people take their stacked supplements separately. They take one capsule of one supplement and a separate capsule of another, for example.

However, in the nootropics community, many users choose to combine their stacks into one super powered nootropics capsule. They buy bulk powders from retailers and then carefully measure out these powders and add them together into one capsule. In that case, your “stack” is a bunch of different ingredients inside a single pill.

How Does Track My Stack Work?

With Track My Stack, you sign up and create a stack. You then journal your experience daily and explain how the stack has worked on your condition or health goals.

The ultimate goal of Track My Stack is to “get better with the help of our community and tools.”

Stacks are separated into a bunch of different categories. Popular stacks include all of the following categories:

— Cognitive Enhancement
— Energy Boosting Stacks
— Reducing Stress
— Sleep Regimens
— Weight Loss Stacks
— Muscle Building Stacks

The idea is that you consider your health and fitness goals, pick a stack that aligns with that goal, and then either create a stack in that category or follow along someone else’s stack to measure their progress.

As the creators of Track My Stack explain, the site isn’t just for you:

“This data can help your primary care provider or yourself figure out the righty treatment and causes.”

If you’re trying out lots of different supplements or medications, then keeping track of all the effects and benefits can be difficult. Track My Stack wants to simplify the process and make it easier for you to achieve your health goals, stick to your regimen, and take the nutritional supplements and medications that provide the most effective benefits to you.

Some of the key features of Track My Stack include all of the following:

— Symptoms Tracker
— Mood Tracker
— Medication Tracker
— Vitamin Tracker

Most Popular Stacks on Track My Stack

Track My Stack separates its stacks into different categories. You can also browse through stacks based on their overall popularity. Some of the most popular stacks on Track My Stack at the time of writing included:

Mental Growth Stack

Promises to increase nerve growth factor (NGF) and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) while also improving mitochondrial support, supporting cognitive energy levels, improving your memory, and boosting your overall mental health without excessive use of stimulants.

There are actually 36 different ingredients in this stack, making it a relatively large stack. Some of the most active ingredients include 300mg of nardostachys jatamansi, 1000mg of gotu kola, and 500mcg of N-Acetyl-Semax.

Check out the stack here.

Study Focus Recall Stack

This straightforward stack contains just three ingredients. The creator of the stack claims that it “will give you a very good boost of energy, recall, and focus.” The ingredients are also easy to purchase from most major supplement retailers.

The three ingredients in the Study Focus Recall stack include 250mg of Alpha GPC, 300mg of Adrafinil, and 100mg of Phenylpiracetam.

The Bulletproof Diet Stack

The Bulletproof Diet comes from American entrepreneur Dave Asprey, who is well-known for his “bulletproof” lineup of supplements and lifestyle advice.

The Bulletproof Diet stack posted on Track My Stack consists of a total of 10 supplements. The stack wasn’t created by Dave Asprey but it does promise to follow along with the recommendations listed in The Bulletproof Exec.

The 10 ingredients in this stack include: 1mg of copper, 200mcg selenium, 10,000mg of vitamin A, 1mg iodine, 2g vitamin C, 2000mcg vitamin K, 1000 IU vitamin D, 5mg vitamin B12, 1000mg krill oil, and 800mg of magnesium.

Is There Scientific Evidence for Track My Stack?

The stacks you see on Track My Stack are obviously not created by doctors or medical researchers. They’re not approved by the FDA nor are they regulated in any way, shape, or form.

However, members of the Track My Stack community are committed to including scientific evidence with each stack suggestion. So in addition to anecdotal evidence (the user’s own personal experience) you can see the scientific reason that user chose to add that specific dose of that specific supplement to the stack.

On this page, for example, you’ll find that the user has listed dozens of separate studies reinforcing the benefits of the ingredients in the stack.

That stack has also been adjusted over time as more and more user reviews pour in, and the original creator of the stack tinkers with the formula. Here’s what one stack adjustment looks like:

10/05/15: Added Ginkgo Biloba at 500mg and removed Galantamine 8mg from Stack. Increased Inositol from 2g to 4g.

At the bottom of each stack’s page, you can read user reviews to get a more anecdotal report on the stack experience.

It’s also important to note that the website has a real medical doctor on their advisory board. The company’s About Us page lists Dr. Bajaj, C. BSc as the sole member of the website’s medical advisory board.

Ultimately, there’s no scientific evidence behind the stacks as a whole on Track My Stack. However, many of the individual ingredients have been subjected to major studies. Nevertheless, the onus is on you, the user, to determine the effects that each stack might have on your body. Perform your due diligent research before taking any stack.
