GI Heal – Vegan GMO Free Healthy Instestinal Lining Support?

on

GI Heal is a nutritional supplement designed to provide better health to individuals suffering from gastrointestinal disorders like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Here’s our GI Heal review.

What Is GI Heal?

GI Heal is a powdered nutritional supplement, designed to be mixed into water or juice, comes in 8.5-ounce containers, and provides about 30 1-scoop servings per container.

The manufacturer recommends taking a serving of GI Heal once a day in the evening on an empty stomach.

GI Heal Features: How Does It Work?

GI Heal contains several ingredients (listed below) that have shown to help maintain a healthy digestive tract and to reduce inflammation in IBS and IBD sufferers.

Who Makes GI Heal?

GI Heal is made by Optimal Health Knowledge, a company founded by John Boyce.

In 2009, after joining anti-aging organization Life Extension, Boyce began lecturing on gastrointestinal disorders and working with customers to improve their gut health; out of these experiences, he created Optimal Health Knowledge to help treat as many people as possible suffering from these same conditions.

In addition to GI Health, Optimal Health Knowledge offers a wide range of supplements, most of which are geared towards anti-aging, life extension, and overall optimal health. The company is based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

GI Heal Ingredients

GI Heal does not use wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, or peanuts/tree nuts in iGI Heal. Instead it uses certified non-GMO ingredients, including:

  • Zinc Oxide – an essential mineral that plays an important role in enzyme production
  • L-Glutamine – an essential amino acid building block for repairing intestinal membranes
  • Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice root (DGL) – an anti-inflammatory agent ideal for the GI tract
  • Marshmallow root powder – an anti-irritant
  • Slippery elm bark powder – another anti-irritant
  • Aloe Vera leaf powder – a well-known plant used for soothing pain and inflammation

GI Heal also makes use of two probiotics, Saccharomyces Boulardii and Bifidobacteria Longum, which have been clinically studied for the role these beneficial bacteria have in supporting overall gut health.

Gi Heal Pricing

GI Heal is available from the Optimal Health Knowledge website for $34.95 per container. Shipping costs are not included in the price.

Gi Heal Reviews: What Do Customers Have to Say?

GI Heal seems to be a rather new product, as there’s not a lot of feedback about its performance to be found on the internet just yet. However, a few specialty shops near Optimal Health’s Ft.

Lauderdale location have begun to carry the product and have been reporting positive consumer response so far.

Pros:

  • Likely to Help IBS/IBD – The probiotics and anti-inflammatory agents in GI Heal are likely to help relieve the symptoms of IBS and IBD to at least some degree. How much relief is unknown, and will likely differ from one person to another.
  • Reasonably Priced – At its current price point, GI Heal is a bit over a dollar per serving, which is a reasonable price to pay for a nutritional supplement. Each container is designed to last roughly one month, thanks to it containing roughly 30 servings.
  • Safe Ingredients – GI Health is non-GMO, contains no gluten, and is free from many allergens like peanuts/tree nuts and shellfish.

Cons:

  • No Significant Feedback – There’s really no solid feedback either way as to whether GI Health is a winner. While there’s no negatives standing out as red flags, there’s also little to no positive feedback either, which makes it somewhat difficult to evaluate this product completely.

Should You Buy GI Heal?

If you suffer from IBS, IBD, Crohn’s, or any other gastrointestinal problem, life can become pretty miserable. You’re often willing to try anything to get your symptoms under control, and that often leads to giving supplements like GI Heal a try.

In this instance, it looks as though GI Heal is inexpensive enough to give it a test run if you’re currently looking for a supplement to help manage your symptoms. Its GMO-free formula is filled with ingredients that have been clinically studied for their effectiveness in providing better gut health, and the price is low enough to give it a good trial run without being put too far out of pocket.

Still, if you do choose to try GI Heal, please realize that there’s not much more information to go on regarding how well it works. You will be glad to know that Optimal Health Knowledge does offer a 30-day refund policy for unsatisfied customers.

This reduces the risk in trying GI Health even further if you’re sitting on the fence about this one.
