Get More Multivitamins – Healthy Vitamin & Mineral Rich Drinks?

on

Get More Multivitamins (or simply “Get More” for short) is a spring water product fortified with essential vitamins and minerals. Here’s our Get More review.

What Is Get More Multivitamins?

Get More comes in a 500ml (around 16oz) bottle of spring water, fortified with the 100% Recommended Daily Allowance of vitamins B1, B3, B5, B6, B7, B12, and C. It also has 25% RDA Magnesium and Zinc.

This particular product comes in “Sparkling Lemon and Lime” flavor. Other products from the same company (detailed below) come in different flavors.

Get More Multivitamins Features: How Does It Work?

Get More provides high levels of daily allowances for a large number of essential vitamins – things our bodies need to stay healthy.

Essential vitamins cannot be made by the body itself, which means we need to have a diet rich in these vitamins. However, the foods we eat may not always have the nutrition we require, which is where multivitamin supplements and vitamin-fortified health drinks like Get More come in to fill the gap.

Who Makes Get More Multivitamins?

Get More is made by the More or Less Drinks Company, registered in the UK. The company makes health drinks that are high in vitamin and mineral content that are high in flavor but low in sugar content in order to make them both palatable and healthy.

In addition to the Get More Multivitamin spring water beverage, More or Less Drinks also offers Get More Minerals, Get More Vitamin A, Get More B Vitamins, Get More Vitamin C, and Get More Vitamin D.

More or Less Drinks also offers a kid-friendly line of its health drinks under the brand of A Little More. Serving sizes are smaller, more appropriate for the nutritional needs of growing children.

Get More Multivitamins Ingredients

Get More has a simple ingredient list. The product begins life as spring water, and is then fortified with several B vitamins, vitamin C, and magnesium and zinc. The product then includes natural flavorings, potassium sorbate as a preservative, and uses sucralose, a sugar substitute, as a sweetener.

Get More Multivitamins Pricing

Get More is a product that’s only available in the UK, and is stocked at several British shops such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, WH Smith, Roadchef and Park & Shop. Prices vary from anywhere between £1 to £1.50, depending on retailer.

Unfortunately, these products are not available outside the UK.

Get More Multivitamins Reviews: What Do Customers Have to Say?

Products distributed by More or Less Drinks have a relatively positive reputation, thanks to the healthy nature of their product line. Here’s what we’ve been able to glean from product reviews.

Pros:

Excellent Source of Vitamins and Minerals – For anyone who finds taking multivitamin pills, tablets, or capsules distasteful, Get More can provide the same nutritional support in a much more palatable form.

Cons:

Expensive as a Multivitamin Replacement – Even at £1 per bottle, Get More is on the expensive side for a multivitamin replacement; using it in lieu of a one-a-day multivitamin will cost much more in the long run than it would to simply buy a bottle of tablets or capsules.

Limited Availability – Get More is only available in the UK, making it impossible for anyone outside of that locale to enjoy the beverage.

Should You Trust Get More Multivitamins?

Get More Multivitamins is an excellent product in that it’s a good alternative to one-a-day multivitamins. The combination of low-calorie flavored spring water and essential vitamins and minerals makes it easy to get good nutrition on the go, especially since the product doesn’t require refrigeration – though More or Less Drinks does encourage customers to drink the product chilled.

However, there are some drawbacks to Get More, one of which is that it’s not priced in line with traditional multivitamin products that you could pick up at any supermarket or pharmacy.

Yes, the product will provide you the RDA of a number of essential vitamins and minerals, but it’s best used as an occasional supplement and not as a complete replacement for a traditional multivitamin, as even at its most affordable it would require spending £30 a month; in comparison, you can get a 30-day supply of traditional vitamins for anywhere between £3.50 and £7.

Of course, the other major barrier for anyone outside of the UK is that there’s no way to get this product. It’s true that you could probably get it imported from specialty outfits or from a friend personally sending you the product, but that means you’d have to foot the shipping bill as well as the price of the product – which seems counter-productive.

In the end, Get More seems to be a good replacement for bottled water thanks to its high vitamin and mineral content – but only for those who live in the UK.
