BodyChange Review

Most people know John Cena as a professional wrestler. But along with a successful wrestling career, John Cena has recently developed a nutrition and exercise program called BodyChange.

What is BodyChange?

BodyChange

Found at ChangeTime.com, BodyChange was developed by nutrition and exercise science experts “using the latest scientific studies and findings.”

The program goes by a few different names. Some people call it BodyChange. Others call it ChangeTime. And some people shorten it to 10WBC, or 10 Week BodyChange.

The program is based on three important principles:

— Easy
— Efficient
— Fun

The program is built to last for 10 weeks. You maintain a careful diet during the week, although the allowed foods are more relaxed than your typical diet. As John Cena explains, “the foods have flavor” and “you don’t have to starve yourself.”

Another cool thing about BodyChange is that you’re allowed to have one “cheat day” per week. During this day, you’re allowed to eat whatever you want.

On the fitness side of things, BodyChange asks for just two twenty minute workouts per week. That’s it.

60% of customers are females and, like most diets, BodyChange claims that “it’s not like the others.” There’s no counting, no gimmicks, nothing in a bottle, and no artificial supplements.

The program is based entirely online. At ChangeTime.com, you’ll find instructional videos from John Cena telling you how to exercise and cook certain foods.

How Does BodyChange Work?

You sign up for John Cena’s 10 week BodyChange challenge at ChangeTime.com. At that website, you simply need to enter your name and email address to get started. Then, confirm your email to gain access to your ChangeTime.com account.

Once you’re in, there are two parts to the diet: the fitness exercises and the diet recipes.

The exercises are limited to just two twenty minute workouts per week. You can do more if you like, but it’s not required. One of the key concepts of BodyChange is that you don’t need to be a “gym rat” or spend hours at the gym to lose weight. Instead, the goal is to simply encourage people to get up and get moving.

Each week, you get two workout videos guided by John Cena himself. He’ll walk you through the workout and show you exactly how to do everything. Each week, the exercises get progressively harder.

On the diet side of things, BodyChange is essentially a paleo diet. It’s a high protein diet rich with meat, vegetables, fat, and fruit.

Once again, each week you’ll see video recipes led by John Cena showing you how to make the dishes.

There’s also a third component: motivation. John Cena and his team will routinely post motivational quotes or inspiring stories from other participants. This keeps you moving forward and can provide an extra boost when the going gets tough.

How Much Does BodyChange Cost?

BodyChange costs $99 for 12 weeks. The program is designed to last 10 weeks, and the extra 2 weeks let you explore the program before and after you start the diet.

If you decide the program isn’t for you, then you can get a full refund. According to most BodyChange customer reviews online, the customer service is friendly and able to accommodate all refund requests.

After your 10 week BodyChange program is complete, you can pay more money for a maintenance plan or just let your subscription expire.

What Do Customers Have to Say About BodyChange?

BodyChange is a relatively new diet and exercise routine and legitimate reviews are few and far between. John Cena claims that thousands have joined the program, although there isn’t a lot of news or feedback online.

The reviews that are online say generally the same thing about BodyChange: it’s a good program, but there’s not enough there to justify the $99 fee for 12 weeks, plus additional fees for a continuous maintenance program.

Customers claim that BodyChange is essentially just a paleo diet guide with some additional workout tapes from John Cena. There’s not much else to the program.

There’s a small community of other BodyChange dieters, although it’s been slow to grow. There’s also a Facebook page which you gain access to only after joining the program – although that’s also devoid of much life beyond the BodyChange customer service workers.

Another problem is that dieters are restricted in terms of what they can see: you can’t skip ahead to upcoming weeks in the program, although you can skip back to view previous weeks.

If, however, you’re looking for a basic, easy-to-follow diet guidelines which will help you lose weight in 10 weeks in exchange for $99, then BodyChange is cheaper than any weight loss clinic. It’s even cheaper than some workout tapes or programs.

If you like John Cena – or like the way he looks when he’s motivating you to work out – then that’s an added bonus.

Conclusion: Who Should Take the ChangeTime or BodyChange Challenge?

Whether you call it ChangeTime, BodyChange, or 10WBC (10 Week Body Change), John Cena’s new weight loss program has generated hype across the internet. The program is specially designed to help you lose weight, keep your ideal weight, and achieve your fitness goals.

The diet is rich with fish, vegetables, eggs, meat, and nuts. It’s protein-rich and you’re allowed to eat the foods you want to eat. You even get one cheat day per week. It’s a less strict version of the paleo diet.

Ultimately, BodyChange claims that it’s not like most other diets. It won’t starve you or force you to painstakingly count every calorie. It does, however, work like most diets because it offers simple, effective meal recipes with flexible ingredient lists.

You can find lots of other diets like this online, but if you like John Cena and are interested in paleo-like diets, then BodyChange could be your next successful diet.

  1. I loved this program. I continued the plan after the 10 weeks but didn’t sign on for any additional plans. I printed a few recipes and check back on some youtube videos. I lost 30 lbs and kept if off. The program is great. And John Cena makes you feel like you can do it and that your best is good enough. My high school gym teacher told me my best would never be good enough and it stuck with me for years after. I enjoyed the program and would recommend it to friends and family

  2. It works. I lost 30 pounds in a month and a half. It’s a year later I’m still 20 pounds lighter. Just wish that I could have referenced it for a bit longer. A trip to an all inclusive Mexican vacation didn’t help me stay on the routine.

  3. I had to cancel my credit card, due to several unauthorized charges, which bodychange refuses to refund. BEWARE, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!

  4. Reviewer obviously didn’t read diet, I have been on for 8 weeks now. Yes it is close to Paleo but no fruit except your cheat day!

    • Don’t forget, you are also allowed fruit with dairy as a shake after your workouts. I work out in the morning and have mine as part of my breakfast.
