Amino Boosters Review

Amino Boosters is a popular YTE supplement offered by Get Your Boom Back. Here’s our review of this energy-boosting supplement.

What Are Amino Boosters?

Amino Boosters is a nutritional supplement that uses “pure Norwegian YTE” as its active ingredient. That formula claims to be made from the “22 most required amino acids” for the human body.

As you may know, amino acids are the basic building blocks for proteins in your body. Our body produces some amino acids on its own, while others we can only get from dietary sources. Understandably, amino acids play a critical role in how our body grows, heals, and develops.

What is YTE?

YTE is the active ingredient in Amino Boosters. YTE stands for Young Tissue Extract. As mentioned above, it’s made from the 22 most required amino acids by the human body.

Since the human body is comprised of approximately 20% protein, and amino acids are the building blocks of protein, the idea is that YTE will fuel your body.

The formula itself was developed and patented by the government of Norway and continues to be manufactured in Norway to this day. YTE is made from fertilized hen eggs that have been incubated for 9 days.

Scientists use a patented process called PreEmbryonic Stage Extract (PESE) to extract all of the core nutrients from the egg white.

Why do scientists wait 9 days before extracting nutrients from the egg white? Well, back in 1929, a Canadian doctor named John Davidson was observing fertilized hen eggs and realized that 9 days after being incubated, the eggs went through a huge growth spurt.

That growth spurt caused the embryo inside the egg to triple.

Davidson theorized that the nutrients inside the egg on day 9 must be extremely powerful, since they were the building blocks causing the egg to triple in size.

Dr. Davidson would go on to treat his patients using YTE nutrients. When he died, however, the research was lost – until a Norwegian scientist made a similar discovery 50 years later.

Using modern science, that scientist determined that the special ingredients inside the embryo included amino acids, peptides, and protein fractions along with vitamins, minerals, whole proteins, growth factors, and a complete array of 22 amino acids.

Is Amino Boosters the Only Way to Get YTE?

The manufacturer of Amino Boosters admits that you can get YTE from multiple sources.

YTE is just a patented formula owned by the Norwegian government. Anyone can license the patent and add YTE formula to their own supplements.

The formula has been studied independently away from Get Your Boom Back, and YTE has demonstrated a wide variety of important health benefits.

So why is the YTE in Amino Boosters said to be different? The manufacturer addresses that question:

“YTE® is a very well documented and studied food supplement appearing in several published and peer reviewed studies and a google search will show you that there are a few companies around the world selling a YTE® based product. However all the studies that were conducted used a daily dosage of 1600mg which is 4 tablets a day of pure YTE® powder. These other companies typically sell a 30 capsule one month supply for more than we sell a 120 capsule supply.”

Amino Boosters, on the other hand, sells its 120 capsule container at a price of £29.99.

Each 4 capsule serving of Amino Boosters contains 1600mg of YTE formula, which is the same dosage used in most medical studies to date. There are 30 servings in each container of Amino Boosters, which is approximately one monthly supply.

Amino Boosters Ingredients

Amino Boosters lists its ingredients chart online, which looks like this:

As you can see, in addition to featuring YTE formula, the manufacturer has added a range of other nutrients, vitamins, and botanicals to the ingredients list.

L-Arginine, for example, is a supplementary amino acid. Ginkgo biloba extract is a botanical extract used in ancient Chinese medicine.

The odd thing about Amino Boosters is that its product package claims that it “Contains 100% Pure YTE”. Then, the ingredients label says something completely different: in fact, 475mg of each 4 capsule serving contains ingredients that are not YTE, while 400mg of that is YTE.

This is in contrast to other YTE supplements, which typically only contain pure YTE and nothing else. It’s unclear why the manufacturer added these additional ingredients.

Health Benefits of YTE

YTE has been studied by a few reputable organizations over the years, although it still lacks major scientific evidence supporting all of its claims. Nevertheless, Amino Boosters advertises all of the following benefits:

— Increased Muscle Growth, Strength, And Performance
Increased Sexual Desire And Function
— Lowered Depression
— Reduced Stress Response

Get Your Boom Back publishes a good roundup of all of these health studies here. Keep in mind that several of these studies reference “fertilized chicken eggs” instead of the actual YTE powder.

Amino Boosters Pricing

Amino Boosters is priced at ‎£29.99, although the online store will exchange that price into your local currency.

In USD, the supplement is priced at $42.52.

The supplement comes in a 120 capsule container. You take 4 servings per day – 2 during breakfast and 2 during lunch – to achieve the health benefits.

How Does Amino Boosters Compare to Other YTE Supplements?

Amino Boosters is one of the more powerful YTE supplements on the market today, containing 1600mg of YTE in each serving.

When compared to other similarly-priced supplements, that appears to be slightly stronger.

For example, this supplement sold by iHerb contains 60 capsules and is priced at $23.15 USD. Each 2 capsule serving contains 840mg of YTE and no filler ingredients.

Another supplement, Dr. Strand’s Original Youth Tissue Extract, is priced at $28.49 USD and contains 400mg in each 1 capsule serving, with 60 capsules in each container.

Once again, no filler ingredients are listed.

The filler ingredients in Amino Boosters – like L-Arginine and gingko biloba extract – weaken its claims as a powerful YTE supplement. However, Amino Boosters still has twice the YTE content of any other supplement you see today.

That’s important if you’re trying to maximize the health benefits of YTE. In this study on the anti-depressive benefits of YTE, for example, researchers gave participants 1,680mg of YTE per day for 4 weeks and observed that participants displayed “an antidepressive effect” compared to a placebo.

Based on the results of this study, you would have to take more than 16 capsules of Amino Boosters per day to enjoy that same YTE dosage and those same anti-depressive effects.

Is YTE Actually Made by the Norwegian Government?

Get Your Boom Back asserts that YTE is a formula created and patented by the Norwegian government:

“What is YTE®? YTE® is a patented food supplement developed and patented by the Norwegian government and made exclusively in Norway.”

In reality, YTE was created by a guy named Dr. Bjodne Eskeland, described as the founder and creator of the formula. In 2006, he published a text on YTE called “Norway’s Anti-Aging Miracle” where he revealed his research on fertilized eggs.

It’s unclear how Dr. Eskeland may or may not be linked to the Norwegian government. However, according to Dr. Eskeland’s 2006 book, he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Science at the Agricultural University of Norway in 1964 before coming to the United States for his graduate studies, where he completed his Ph. D in Animal Nutrition at the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1971.

In terms of his link to the Norwegian government, Dr. Eskeland’s book claims that he “has been on staff at Norwegian Food Institute”, but it’s not clear whether or not he developed YTE while working for that organization.

You can read Dr. Eskeland’s 2006 text here.
