Active Sports Distribution (Or ASD for short) is a large sports nutrition company that makes a number of different workout, health, and wellness supplement products. Here’s our Active Sports Distribution review.
What Is Active Sports Distribution?
Active Sports Distribution is a manufacturer of many different brands of sports nutrition products to help people build muscle, lose fat, and for general health and wellness.
They have 11 different brands separated by premium, economy, and women’s health needs.
Active Sports Distribution Features
ASD’s wide range of sports supplements are all formulated for specific needs.
There are supplements for supplying nutritional protein and amino acids, pre-workout formulations to provide long-lasting energy for workouts, weight gain formulas for individuals looking to bulk, and weight loss/energy products to promote the opposite.
General wellness supplements include sleep aids and vitamin supplements as well. However, the majority of ASD’s product range takes the form of pre-workout, intra-workout, and post-workout supplements.
In addition to single products, ASD also sells “stacks” of pre-packaged products designed to meet someone’s overall needs without having to pick and choose among the company’s dozens of standalone products.
Active Sports Distribution Creators
ASD products are made by a company of the same name, located in Norcross, Georgia. Independent research reveals the company was founded in 2013 and has an annual revenue of $2,790,000.
In addition to retail sales of its wide range of supplements, Active Sports distribution LLC provides wholesale rates and factory direct shipping when needed.

Active Sports Distribution Reviews
ASD seems to have a neutral to good reputation online, based on customer feedback.
While there doesn’t seem to be much written on the internet about the company and its products as far as in-depth reviews, there’s also nothing out there that paints a negative picture of Active Sports Distribution either.
The company’s social media presence seems relatively positive as well, focusing on images and videos of several different people working out with the aid of their products or sporting a shirt branded with the ASD logo.
Some of these individuals appear again and again, and are likely professional bodybuilders that have become paid sponsors and spokespersons for the company.
Others are likely just individuals who enjoy working out and have found ASD products to be helpful.
Pros:
- Will Probably Work – ASD’s supplements will probably work about as well as any other supplement on the market, as they all tend to have similar ingredients. Whether this means it will maximize your own gains from your workouts.
Cons:
- Doesn’t Replace Hard Work – Unless you’re injecting actual illegal anabolic steroids into your body, you’re only going to see gains if you combine your workout supplements with hard work. You need the proper diet and exercise to meet your fitness goals in order to support your workouts, and there’s no guarantee that any supplement will be able to ever replace that.
Active Sports Distribution Summary
Taking sports supplements regularly could likely aid in making your workouts more productive and efficient, as long as you combine those workouts with the proper diet.
Many of ASD’s supplements provide good nutrition in the form of lean protein and the essential vitamins and amino acids your body needs to build muscle and burn fat, though the jury is out on the scientific validity of the ingredients in many sport fitness supplements on the market right now.
Price-wise, it’s likely a good idea to purchase ASD products by the stack. You’ll likely save time and money, especially since each stack ships for free, and the ingredients in each product in the stack have been chosen because they work best together.
This takes some of the guesswork out of fitness supplements, as you do not have to spend time in experimenting with different brands to find the right combination for your own workout needs.
Additionally, the price points of ASD products are competitive with those from other supplement companies. This means you would probably spend about the same amount of money elsewhere anyway.
There’s only one thing that you should be aware of. One of ASD’s “sister companies” DuraCap Labs, a company that uses the same street address of ASD and makes many of the formulations for ASD products, has been involved in a lawsuit recently.
Co-owners and founders Beny Mesika and John Wesley Houser IV have both been indicted on steroid charges in June of 2016.
There were a handful of DuraCap Labs products that were found to have Schedule III Controlled Substances in them that were not listed on their ingredient labels.
There’s nothing that indicates any of the other products DuraCap Labs formulates for ASD have been linked to this.
However, you may want to consider steering clear of this company just to be on the safe side if you have any fears of being exposed to synthetic illegal substances designed to enhance workout performance.
