Transform It is a new As Seen On TV product that can be used as a dolly, trolley, handcart, or three step ladder. Read our review to find out how it works.
What is Transform It?
Transform It is a product sold online through TransformItTV.com. You may have also seen the product on infomercials in recent weeks. In those infomercials, happy customers are seen using the Transform It to accomplish multiple tasks.
The Transform It, as the name suggests, can “transform” into four different household items, including:
- Dolly
- Trolley
- Handcart
- 3 Step Ladder
Instead of owning four different objects for your home, the Transform It lets you own just one. The device is ANSI-certified for safety and features wheels that make it easy to roll around. Whether you need to reach a high place or wheel around a heavy object, Transform It promises to make your life easier.
Transform It is priced higher than most other ASOTV items: it costs around $150 USD. The product was made by APG, the same company that launched the original Snuggie back in 2009.
Let’s take a closer look at the features to see if the Transform It is worth it.
Transform It Features
- Dolly, trolley, handcart, and 3 step ladder in one device
- Patent pending flip and fold design transforms it in seconds
- Convenient resting angle
- ANSI-certified for safety
- Features a stabilizer bar to prevent tipping
- Folds up for easy storage
- Can easily handle loads as heavy as 400 pounds
The four main uses are pretty straightforward. You can use the Transform It as a dolly, which means you lay it completely flat and then place it under a heavy object – like a couch – to wheel that object around. Alternatively, you can use it as a 4 wheeled trolley cart, which is similar to a dolly, but is better for handling bulky items like mulch, bricks, potted plants, or pet food (it’s a dolly with a handle attached).
The handcart, on the other hand, is ideal for moving around taller, difficult-to-move objects – like a stack of boxes. Finally, a ladder is self-explanatory.
Transform It Pricing
Transform It advertises itself at a price of “3 easy payments of $39.99”. If you read the fine print, however, you’ll learn that Transform It comes with a massive $30 shipping fee. Here’s how pricing breaks down:
- 1 Transform It (Single Payment): $149.96
- 1 Transform It (Multiple Payments): One payment of $39.99 + $29.99 shipping today, then an additional $39.99 charge on days 30 and 60 (adds up to $149.96)
There’s no difference in price between the two options. Either way, you’re paying $149.96.
All purchases come with a collapsible carrying bag you can use to store the Transform It in your vehicle or home. The official site accepts payment with any major credit card.
A $10 surcharge is applied to orders to Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, and Alaska. The company does not ship to Quebec.
Transform It Refund Policy
Transform It mentions a 10 year warranty on the official website, although we couldn’t find much information about that warranty available online.
The official website mentions that all customers have a 30 day return window. You can return the product within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund, minus the $30 shipping charge. It also appears that you need to pay for your own return shipping – which will be expensive for such a large and heavy object.

Who Makes Transform It?
Transform It was created by As Seen On TV company APG – also known as Allstar Products Group. The company has released dozens of recognizable ASOTV items over the years, including their Baconboss bacon cooker, TrueTouch Five Finger Deshedding Glove, Roto Clipper, Kitty Shack, Kangaroo Keeper, and Mister Steamy. The company is best-known, however, for releasing the original Snuggie back in 2009.
APG was founded in 1999. The company is based in Hawthorne, New York.
Should You Buy Transform It?
Transform It is an ASOTV product that can easily transform into four different objects using its convenient hinge design. You get a ladder, a dolly, a trolley, and a handcart all rolled into one. Instead of owning four separate objects in your home, you can own just one.
If you think you’re going to use the Transform It for all four of its purposes, then it may be worth the $150 price tag. However, if you only need, say, a dolly and a ladder, then you may be able to buy two separate objects at a cheaper price. Check Amazon and other sources before you buy.
