Thrivous Clarity Natural Nootropic is a nutritional supplement that claims to boost your cognition, memory, mood, and mental energy. Here’s our Thrivous Clarity review.
What is Thrivous Clarity?
Thrivous Clarity is a nootropic supplement priced at around $40 for a package of 60 capsules. The supplement uses ingredients like zinc, Bacopa monnieri, ginseng, and L-theanine to purportedly boost your cognitive ability.
The supplement recently appeared online on Thrivous.com, where it’s being advertised on pages like “#1 Best Nootropic to Improve Focus, Memory, and Mood.” On that page, Thrivous Clarity is compared against popular nootropics like Nootrobox Rise and Onnit Alpha Brain – where it repeatedly comes out ahead.
Is Thrivous Clarity actually the best nootropic on the market? Or is it just being marketed that way? Let’s take a closer look at Thrivous Clarity and how it works today.
How Does Thrivous Clarity Work?
Thrivous Clarity contains six active ingredients. We’ve seen all of these ingredients in other nootropics – so there’s nothing particularly unique about Thrivous Clarity. What is unique is that the manufacturer has provided us with full dosage information about the supplement – so we know exactly how much of each ingredient is inside the formula. That’s something we don’t get with a lot of nootropic supplements sold online.
In any case, Thrivous Clarity contains the following six active ingredients:
— L-Theanine: This is an amino acid found in green tea that has been shown to nullify the negative side effects of caffeine, providing anti-anxiety benefits and helping your body relax (without actually causing sedation).
— Rhodiola: This perennial flower grows on sea cliffs and mountains. The makers of Thrivous Clarity claim it can help improve your energy, focus, and mood.
— Zinc: Zinc is an essential dietary mineral. There’s 50% of your recommended daily value of zinc found in Thrivous Clarity. It plays crucial roles throughout your body, and has also been linked to improved moods.
— Ginseng: Panax ginseng is native to North America and is often used to improve focus.
— Gingko Biloba: This ancient tree has been used as a cure-all since ancient times. Modern scientific research has given us some evidence that it has nootropic benefits.
— Bacopa Monnieri: This creeping herb can be found in wetlands. Its extract is often found in nootropic supplements to improve memory.
Thrivous Clarity posts a handful of studies on its official website supporting the benefits listed above. However, it’s important to note that Thrivous Clarity as a whole has never been studied.
Thrivous Clarity links to this study published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology in July 2005. In that study, researchers noticed that 200mg dosages of ginseng led to a significant improvement in performance on cognitive tasks. There’s 210mg of ginseng in each serving of Thrivous Clarity.
The makers of the supplement also link to numerous studies where participants took 300mg of Bacopa monnieri (with 55% bacoside extract) and enjoyed cognitive benefits. There’s 300mg of Bacopa monnieri in each serving of Clarity.
Overall, Thrivous Clarity does exactly what we like to see: it’s transparent about its dosages, and it links to reputable studies where researchers used those exact same dosages to enjoy significant cognitive benefits. Based on this information, Thrivous Clarity appears to work as advertised.
Thrivous Clarity Ingredients
Here’s the full list of ingredients and dosages in each 2 capsule serving of Thrivous Clarity (30 servings per container):
-7.5mg of Zinc (from Zinc Sulfate / 50% Daily Value)
-300mg of Bacopa Monnieri Extract (50% Bacosides)
-120mg of Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract (24% flavone glycoside, 6% terpene lactone)
-200mg of L-Theanine
-210mg of Panax Ginseng Root Extract (7% ginsenoside)
-200mg of Rhodiola Rosea Extract (3% salidroside)
-Other Ingredients: Cellulose capsule
As mentioned above, it’s rare for a nootropic supplement manufacturer to be this transparent about their dosages. It’s refreshing to see that the makers of Thrivous Clarity have taken a different, more honest approach. While other manufactures hide their true dosages behind proprietary formulas, Thrivous leaves Clarity’s ingredients out in the open.
It’s also important to note that all ingredients and capsule compounds in Thrivous Clarity are vegan friendly.

Who Makes Thrivous Clarity?
Thrivous Clarity is made by a company named Thrivous. That company is based in Orem, Utah. You can contact the company by email at [email protected].
Clarity is currently the only supplement sold by the company. There are no other products listed on the company’s online store.
Thrivous’s About page describes how the company was founded by Dorothee and Lincoln Cannon. The pair began researching nootropics in 2010 but were disappointed by the options available on the market. In early 2016, the company began to manufacture its first product, Clarity. They created the supplement with the goal of using transparent ingredients, backed by scientific evidence, and with a price below purchasing the ingredients individually.
Should You Use Thrivous Clarity to Improve your Cognition?
Thrivous Clarity is a surprising nootropic supplement. Unlike most other supplements on the market, Thrivous Clarity uses proven ingredients and transparent dosages. We know exactly how much of each ingredient is in Clarity, and we also know that these are the same dosages backed by scientific evidence.
That’s a big change from other low-quality nootropics on the market, where manufacturers often hide low dosages in proprietary formulas while citing studies that use much stronger doses.
Best of all, Clarity is available at a reasonable price: you can pay $40 for a one month supply or $30 on the autoship program. That’s less than you would pay if you purchased all of the ingredients separately.
For all of these reasons, Thrivous Clarity is one of the few nootropic supplements on the market that appears to genuinely be worth your money.
