What Are TeaPacs?
TeaPacs are individually packaged teas sealed at the source for ultimate freshness. They’re sold online. Teabox uses a nitrogen flush system “that keeps the tea as fresh as the day it was picked”. So even if you don’t live near Nepal, Sri Lanka, or India, you can enjoy exotic tea that tastes as fresh as possible.

Types Of TeaPacs
Teabox hasn’t unveiled any new teas with its TeaPacs lineup. Instead, the company packages its ordinary teas into TeaPacs to maximize the freshness. You open each TeaPac, take out the pyramid-shaped bag of loose leaf tea, then make your fresh tea as normal. All 18 popular Teabox varieties are available, including all of the following:
Black
Teabox is well-known for its black teas. Its Chamomile Ray tea is particularly popular. They also make unique varieties like their Organic Breakfast tea, which is a flavorful, full-bodied tea made from USDA Organic certified ingredients sourced from the high-elevation mountains of northeast India. There’s also Mountain Rose tea, described as “a fragrant blend of jasmine-infused winter flush black tea with rose and cardamom.”

Green
Behind black tea, the green tea category of Teapacs is the biggest category. 6 different varieties are available, including high-grown organic green tea from Darjeeling described as “light and soothing”, and the unique green earl grey tea described as “our take on a classic that’s both delicious and good for you”.

What Makes TeaPacs Different?
TeaPacs contain the same Teabox blends – but they’re packaged into nitrogen-flushed containers. The company unveiled the products in October 2016. They’re the first company in the beverage industry to use a natural nitrogen flush.
What’s the big deal about a nitrogen flush system? The company claims that their process creates a non-reactive environment that protects the tea from oxygen, light, heat, and moisture – all of which can compromise the integrity of tea.

After you open each TeaPac, you’ll find the distinctive pyramid-shaped Teabox bag inside. The pyramid-shaped bag lets the leaves unfurl, which means the leaves can impart more flavor during steeping.
