ShaveNoMore – Ultra Hair Away Hair Inhibitor Removal?

on

There are numerous methods to get rid of unwanted hair that are as simple as an old-fashioned straight razor to expensive laser hair removal procedures. What if there were a product out there that claims to be easier than traditional shaving, and costs much less than laser hair removal?

Today, we are going to take a closer look at ShaveNoMore, who claims that their product, Ultra Hair Away, can inhibit hair growth for up to six weeks.

The two names are a bit confusing, but it would appear that a company called, Leading Edge Health manufactures the hair inhibitor known as Ultra Hair Away.

ShaveNoMore is actually ShaveNoMore.com and is part of the internet branding, not an actual product.

What Is ShaveNoMore?

Ultra Hair Away is a topical solution sold on the ShaveNoMore website and claims to inhibit hair growth by changing the structure of the hair follicle.

Hair growth will be significantly reduced with noticeable changes in the texture.

ShaveNoMore states that thick, coarse hair will be softer and finer before finally stopping all growth from within the hair follicle.

The makers of Ultra Hair Away state that their product is safe and easy to use. It is also 100% organic. ShaveNoMore claims that the hair inhibitor has been developed after years of biological research and development. The ingredients are garnered from exotic plant enzymes and then blended in precise quantities.

It is suggested that the Ultra Hair Away spray be used immediately after traditional hair removal methods that expose the hair follicle and used two times per day for the first week and decreasing in application frequency to once a day for an additional two weeks.

The ShaveNoMore topical is to be sprayed directly on the follicle coating it completely. Since approximately ⅓ of human hair is dormant at any give time, subsequent treatments will be necessary.

Once unwanted hair is gone, only spot maintenance will be required.

What Are The Ingredients In Ultra Hair Away?

The product is designed for both men and women and the ShaveNoMore website claims it is safe, even in sensitive areas such as a bikini line or underarms.

Ultra Hair Away may also be used anywhere else that unwanted hair is pronounced, including on the upper lip and face. Full-body hair removal including shoulders, torso and back can take much longer and will use more Ultra Hair Away than when treating smaller areas.

According to the ShaveNoMore website, Ultra Hair Away is natural, organic and odorless. The manufacturer lists a compositional analysis of the product:

  • Water
  • Extractable fruit derivatives
  • Polypropylene Glycol
  • Glycerol
  • Disaccharides
  • Urea
  • Dithiothreitol
  • EDTA
  • Methyl Paraben
  • Propylparaben
Traditional Methods Of Removing Unwanted Hair

Abrasives or Scrubbing – This method of removing unwanted hair has been around for probably as long as humans have been trying to get rid of hair. Dull stones such as pumice can be used to abrasively remove hair. There are also specially designed gloves that work with friction to remove hair at the follicle.

Threading – Gaining in popularity once again, this method involves pulling a single hair out with a looped thread. Less painful than plucking.

Sugaring – Similar to waxing but less painful and less irritating to sensitive skin. Warm mixture is applied to the skin and left to dry. When removed, hair is pulled from follicle while leaving cuticle intact.

Electrolysis – Permanent method of hair removal involves cauterizing hair follicle, in essence destroying the follicle’s ability to grow hair.

Laser – Most expensive method of hair removal. Can also be painful and leave unintentional scarring.

Straight-Edged Blades and Razors – Time-tested, and easily, the most popular method of hair removal. Subject to razor burn and cuts. Used with a lubricant, cuts hair close to the skin, but does not remove cuticle and does not impair follicle from becoming active again.

Waxing – Does not permanently remove hair. Can leave burns and is very painful as the hair is literally yanked out of the follicle. Hair may regrow if not treated with an inhibitor such as Ultra Hair Away.

Depilatory Cream – An Easy and inexpensive method that removes unwanted hair. Does use chemicals to heat the follicle causing it to release the hair. Can be harsh on sensitive skin.

Women that shaved their legs two to three times a week, after using the hair inhibitor spray would only need to shave their legs once a month. Those dramatic claims and other testimonials can be found on the ShaveNoMore website, but we wanted to look outside the manufacturer’s website to see what independent reviews are saying.

There were a number of reviews on Amazon for the Ultra Hair Away topical spray by ShaveNoMore.

One reviewer claimed that the product took more than four months before any noticeable difference in the amount of unwanted hair, but did make hair appear finer and not as coarse as before using the product.

Many reviewers stated that the product simply did not work and was a waste of money. Overall, the reviews were less than 50% favorable with quite a few 1-Star ratings. That would suggest that consumers are not throwing out their razors anytime soon.
