Back pain is one of the most common health complaints in the United States, with more than 31 million Americans suffering from chronic back pain on a regular basis. As the single largest cause of disability worldwide, back pain costs the public more than $50 billion dollars in health care costs in the US alone, and is the most common reason for missed work.
The root causes of back pain can be hard to pin down, but poor posture and a lack of physical exercise is the most common contributing factor to ongoing back pain. The health of the joints also plays an important role in back pain, with individuals that suffer from osteoarthritic conditions frequently experiencing severe back pain.
Anti inflammatory drugs and painkillers are able to temporarily alleviate the pain symptoms of back pain, but don’t address the root causes that contribute to it. The best way to treat back pain is through spinal manipulation, which is growing in popularity as a natural, effective, and fast acting way to alleviate both the root causes and the symptoms of back pain.
Spinal manipulation treatments, however, typically require the services of a professional chiropractor. While a professional chiropractor is able to deliver extremely effective relief from back pain, they are generally extremely expensive options, charging more than $100 USD hourly. Remedial massage is another option to individuals suffering from back pain, but like chiropractic solutions, can be extremely expensive.
Rollers have become one of the most popular alternatives to professional chiropractors or massage services, offering individuals the ability to perform highly effective and simple spinal manipulation at home at a fraction of the cost. Plexus is one of the most popular back pain roller manufacturers on the market today, and offers a diverse range of rolling solutions that have been clinically proven to eliminate back pain.
In this article, we’ll check out the Plexus range and find out what it offers to help you decide whether it's the right back pain solution for you.
What Is Plexus Wheel Back Pain Roller?
Plexus Wheel Back Pain Roller is a back pain roller manufacturer that offers a selection of highly effective back rollers. Founded in 2015, Plexus was originally designed as a yoga wheel that was intended to complement yoga practices.
Based in Utah, Plexus found that their yoga wheels were becoming extremely popular with individuals suffering from back pain, and thus created a roller wheel range specifically to alleviate lower and upper back pain, eliminate inflammatory, improve joint health, and promote better balance.
The Plexus solution is centered on three primary axioms- no surgery, no drugs, and no doctors, and has now sold more than 20,000 Plexus wheels around the world, as well as developed a comprehensive yoga system based around the use of the Plexus wheel. All Plexus products are made entirely in the United States, and are used by more than 500 physiotherapists, chiropractors, and personal trainers around America.
The Plexus wheel is an innovative back pain solution that is able to gently massage away knots, improve joint health, and eliminate the need for expensive medical treatments or surgery. All of the wheels in the Plexus range are 5 inches wide, which is the ideal size, fitting perfectly between the shoulder blades.
By rolling along the spine, Plexus wheels target the hard-to-reach lateral muscles and align the spine correctly, eliminating the root cause of back pain.
The Plexus Wheel Back Pain Roller Range
The Plexus Wheel Back Pain Roller range consists of three primary wheel sizes that deliver different benefits. The first wheel in the Plexus range is a 12 inch standard wheel that provides gentle pressure to the back, and is ideal for individuals over 5 ft in height. As the most popular solution in the Plexus range, the 12 inch standard wheel is able to relax the upper and lower back.
The 10 inch medium wheel is designed primarily for use by children, and is able to open up the hip flexors and promote healthy spinal development. The final solution in the Plexus range is a 6 inch micro wheel that, due to its small size, provides a large amount of deep tissue penetration, correcting posture and eliminating deep tissue knots. The 6 inch Plexus is also ideal for travel, and is a great solution for personal trainers and physios.
In addition to the three wheel sizes, Plexus also offer a range of accessories, including tank tops, gift cards, and t shirts. The entire range of Plexus wheels can be purchased in a triple pack, or purchased separately.
