The insole solutions offered by Moticon are able to deliver informed insights and clinical-level data in just five minutes of use, and use a cloud-based automated reporting system to streamline the data collection process. An open data interface makes accessing raw data collected by the device possible, and delivers absolute time sync, automated video sync, parallel measurements, and a 100% duty cycle.

The Moticon Science combines kinematic and kinetic data to create a comprehensive picture of foot motion, using a variety of different sensors to capture one of the most detailed images of foot dynamics possible. The Moticon Science assesses four key metrics, beginning with pressure. Pressure data is captured as pressure distribution across the foot, and can be used to generate a heatmap of local pressure and movement quality during foot motion.
The force sensors of the Moticon Science are able to generate overall ground contact force, and can even deliver a detailed summary of balance, using an analysis of Center of Pressure to assess proprioceptive skills and stability. Lastly, the motion sensor capacity of the Moticon Science integrates spatial and temporal parameters to create complex assessments of direction and ground contact time.
The Moticon Science packs all of these features into an exceptionally thin insole that is constructed from extremely robust material, providing users with a long lifespan. Each Moticon Science insole can be operated in one of four modes, the first of which is a live tracking mode that streams data in real time to a paired device, capturing data on the fly and streaming it to a cloud server.
