What is Beard Monster?
Beard Monster is a lineup of beard care products to help you grow a stronger, healthier, more vibrant-looking beard. The products include oils, balms, waxes, washes, brushes, and more.
By using Beard Monster products daily, you can purportedly “improve the health, appearance, and even texture of your beard”, according to the manufacturer.
The company was founded in Georgia but has since moved to Washington. The founder, Austin, initially started selling Beard Monster products on Etsy.
Beard Monster Products
Beard Monster takes great pride in its product lineup, claiming that the products are independently developed and meticulously tested and perfected over the years.
Products are separated into 7 core categories, including Beard Oil, Complete Beard Kits, Beard Balm, Balm & Oil Combos, Mustache Wax, Beard Wash, and Accessories:

All beard oils come with creative product packaging, including custom illustrations and colorful artwork. A full description of all beard oils and their scents is available online at MonsterBeardCare.com.
If you choose the Wolfman Beard Oil, then you can also buy a number of other products in the Wolfman lineup, including the Beard Washes and Beard Waxes. Products with the same name all have similar scents.

Beard Monster sells complete beard kits in either a wooden box or a bag. These beard kits come with all of the products you need to care for your beard. You can buy either the Complete Beard Kit wooden box for $60 or the bag for $50.

By using the balm daily, you can condition your beard and provide hold in order to style it.
Balm & Oil Combos
Beard Monster sells a combo back where you can combine one beard oil with one beard balm. So if you want the Witch’s Brew Beard Balm and the Witch’s Brew Beard Oil, you can do that.

Beard Washes
Beard experts know that you shouldn’t wash your beard with regular shampoo. According to Beard Monster, that dries it “like crazy”. By using a moisturizing beard wash specifically designed for facial hair, you can ensure your beard continues to grow long and strong.
All Beard Monster beard washes are made from castile soap and aloe gel mixed with jojoba oil, almond oil, and meadowfoam seed oil. They also come with the same fragrances you see in other Beard Monster products – like Zombie Killer and Wolfman.
All beard washes are priced at $10.
Accessories
Beard Monster sells a range of beard accessories featuring the Beard Monster branding. Top accessories include:
- Beard Monster Wooden Beard Comb – $10
- Boar Bristle Brush – $5
- Military Boar Bristle Brush – $5 (Medium – $7)
- Switchblade Moustache Comb – $6
Boar bristle brushes are particularly effective at distributing oil through your hair. They’ve been used on head hair for centuries as an effective hair treatment. Since beard hair is notoriously dry, mixing your beard oil with a beard comb can help encourage healthy growth.
About Beard Monster
As mentioned above, Beard Monster was launched by a Georgia, USA resident named Austin. After launching on Etsy, Austin has since moved his business to Washington.
Austin claims that he has been wearing facial hair since he’s been able to grow any facial hair, and he has experimented with a number of different styles over the years.
Like many guys, Austin didn’t realize the importance of beard oil until recently. He picked up a store-bought bottle of oil for $18 and enjoyed how effective it was – but was surprised when he realized it mostly just contained olive oil (the same stuff you use for cooking) mixed with some fragrance.
Austin realized he could make better beard oils at a cheaper price, which is when he started creating his own oils and releasing them on Etsy. Soon enough, he explains on his About Us page, “the oils were bringing in enough money to qualify as a full-time job.”
Eventually, Austin would add balms, waxes, and beard washes to his list of products. He claims his products can be found at a growing number of shops in several countries and are used by thousands of bearded men around the world.

This is a bad business! I ordered a kit and they sent me the wrong stuff and refuse to fix it! Too many other respectable oil companys to order from. Don’t waste your money on these people because you probably won’t get what you ordered if anything at all!
Is this a review or an ad?
Because here is an actual review:
I ordered a product on August 23 and two months later I have gotten no indication that I will even receive the product despite many pleas for information. I have not even received a tracking number to indicate shipping even though it was indicated a month ago they would do this. I have also pushed for a reimbursement of my payment due to the lack of movement on shipping but really it was coming down to customer service and response; of which there is almost none.
This company is a) either a sham; or b) unprofessional and not ready to deliver on their goods. Either way, I would not recommend and would never purchase from this company again. I would review their actual products but one would have to be in possession of the items they bought and paid for to actually do this.
