Marsupial Athletics is a start-up company that is committed to creating innovative products that solve every day inconveniences.
The company is the brainchild of Ethan Page who first came up with the concept of the first product while out on a daily run. Usually, he would carry his keys in his pocket. However, he was tired of objects bouncing and rubbing against his body. To avoid this distraction, Page hide the keys in the gas cap of his truck.
When he returned to his car after his run, he noticed a man attempting to steal his vehicle. Startled by the experience, Page decided to create a solution. Instead of running with his keys in hand, he rolled the end of a sock over itself and sewed the first Bandicoot sleeve. After revisions and help of family and friends, the Bandicoot product line was born.

Marsupial Athletics Products were inspired by the pouch that all marsupials have. A distinguishing feature in female marsupials, the pouches are used to carry their young. In addition to convenience, the pouch serves as a life-support system for the babies. By applying this concept to fitness sleeves, Marsupial Athletics helps individuals store items safely and securely, no matter where they are.
Made for athletes and fitness enthusiasts, the Bandicoot product line is the first round of professional manufactured fitness accessories released by the company. The unique Bandicoot sleeves eliminate the need to carry backpacks or other carriers while traveling on foot. The wearable products allow individuals to experience the outdoors, workout, and push limits without compromising comfort.
Every Marsupial Athletics product is made to provide convenience and comfort to the wearer. The sleeves are designed with a flexible, lightweight, and durable spandex lucre material. Woven in a moisture-wicking weave, the product allows wearers to put a variety of items in the sleeves.
Regardless of the size, each item will be held tightly and securely. Because of the flexibility of the material, it does not restrict blood flow or cause discomfort to wearers. The athletic sleeves also feature Silicone Grippers that are placed at either side, preventing sliding or bunching up on the body. The Grippers adhere to the skin.
Bandicoot sleeves also have power netting windows on one of the pouch compartments, allowing wearers to easily see and use electronic devices. The netting provides instant access to touch screens and buttons. Designed for versatility, the athletic sleeves contain three compartments, allowing users to separate items as needed.
To secure items in each compartment, the product features an over-locking top flap that securely locks them in place. Made in multiple sizes, the options allow wearers to experience the perfect fit. To receive the correct size, customers will be sent a questionnaire.

Bandicoot Lite
The smallest Bandicoot product, the Bandicoot Lite is ideal for individuals who are wanting to carry the bare essentials. Perfect for a run, workout, vacation, or a day exploring, the Bandicoot Lite holds items such as keys, credit cards, IDs, energy gels, cash, and small snacks.
Traditional Bandicoot
The Traditional Bandicoot is the original Bandicoot design. Made for individuals who are wanting to listen to music or carry their phones, this sleeve is ideal for wearers on the go.
The power net design on one side of the pouch section allows easy access to the phone’s screen. The sleeve is able to carry up to an iPhone 7+ and other similar sized items. To plug in headphones, the final version will also feature a headphone port at the top of the sleeve.
Bandicoot Full
The Bandicoot Full is ideal for individuals who love to be outdoors during extreme weather conditions. Made with a slightly thicker material, the sleeve features a brush backed inside. It is perfect for wearers who are out on chilly days because it is extra warm.
Similar to the pouch size on the Traditional Bandicoot, the Bandicoot Full features a pouch that stays on the bicep. The remainder of the sleeve is single layered. Perfect for small-sized objects, it also features a headphone port at the top of the sleeve.
To protect the above items from getting wet from sweat and rain, the company has created sets of re-usable sealing plastic bags. Designed to fit the Bandicoot sleeve compartments, the bags protect cash, snacks, and sensitive electronics.
Purchasing Marsupial Athletics Products
Marsupial Athletics is currently featured on the funding platform Kickstarter. The campaign is introducing the products to the public officially starting in June 2017. In the meantime, the team is meeting with manufacturers to obtain samples and previews of final prototypes. Production is set to begin in July 2017.
