Kuka Xoco Review

Kuka Xoco claims to be the world’s first medicinal chocolate. Is Kuka Xoco actually healthy to eat? Find out today in our Kuka Xoco review.

What is Kuka Xoco?

Kuka Xoco is a medicinal chocolate that claims to lower your blood pressure and help you maintain healthy cholesterol levels.

The chocolate is currently in development and has not yet been released onto the market.

The secret power behind Kuka Xoco lies in its high levels of antioxidants and minerals – most of which come from cacao, which is the key ingredient in chocolate.

On its own, cacao is surprisingly healthy. The main problem with eating chocolate and cacao for health is that the average chocolate bar contains at least 70% fat and sugar. This offsets any positive health benefits.

By reducing levels of fat and sugar and maximizing cacao content, Kuka Xoco claims to have made a healthy chocolate bar.

As of October 2015, the Kuka Xoco chocolate bar is only in the prototype phase. The chocolate bar has achieved global media recognition after the company’s founder, Gregory Aharonian, widely announced that chocolate could be healthy.

How Does Kuka Xoco Work?

Kuka Xoco claims to be a healthy chocolate bar because it contains about half the fats and sugar of a standard chocolate bar – about 35% compared to the usual 70%.

In a recent interview, here’s what Kuka Xoco president and spokesperson Gregory Aharonian had to say about making the chocolate bar:

“Using microgrammes of coco plant extract, we can de-bitter unsweetened cacao. This eliminates the need for sugar, sweeteners and much of the fat in chocolate, unleashing the medical benefits of cacao.”

The current chocolate bar prototype has half the fats and sugar of a standard chocolate bar. However, the ultimate goal is to reduce the number to about 10% fats and sugar content, down from the 70% in a traditional chocolate bar.

In another interview during the World Chocolate Forum in London (yes, that’s a real event), Aharonian claimed that removing the unhealthy ingredients from chocolate allows people to eat it medicinally.

Aharonian also believes that sugar could eventually be viewed as the “next nicotine”. By rebranding chocolate as a healthy nutritional supplement, he predicts that the industry could double its annual profits.

Specifically, the chocolate industry is worth about $100 billion in the United States alone. Aharonian predicts that the industry could become a $200 billion a year health food industry simply by removing fat and sugar content.
