Femi Yin For Menopause – Whole Herbal Symptom Relief Formula?

on

Femi-Yin is an herbal remedy designed to help women coping with the pain and discomfort of the symptoms of menopause. Here’s our Femi-Yin review.

What Is Femi-Yin?

Femi Yin For Menopause is an herbal remedy in a 700mg tablet, designed to be taken twice a day to help manage common menopause symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, night sweats, irritability, fatigue, and others.

How Does Femi Yin For Menopause Work?

Femi-Yin uses a holistic whole-herb formula – detailed below – to provide effective relief for various symptoms what many women experience before, during, and after menopause. Femi-Yin makes use of natural ingredients and does not contain no black cohosh, soy, or estrogen, is non-GMO, vegetarian, gluten free, and made in the United States.

Who Makes Femi Yin For Menopause?

Femi Yin For Menopause is a product of BioMed Health, founded in 1992 and located in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This highly successful business has been manufacturing herbal and dietary supplements to the tune of around $1.8 million in revenue every year and employs 12 people.

According to official documents, the president of the company is listed as M E Sherman. However, the company website itself doesn’t name the founder of the company but instead simply states that the company was created by the founder and CEO with the help of her husband.

Ingredients in Femi Yin

There are a total of eight ingredients listed on the Femi-Yin label. These ingredients include:

  • Rehmannia, also called Chinese Foxglove, used as a general tonic in Chinese medicine
  • Asiatic Dogwood, another staple in Asiatic medicine
  • Chinese Yam, which has compounds that act similar to estrogen on the body
  • Tree Peony Bark, supposedly useful as an anti-wrinkling agent and a treatment for cramps and rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Polyporus, a class of mushrooms. More information is needed here as there are nearly 40 known polyporus species. BioMed Health does not indicate which species is an ingredient in Femi-Yin.
  • Alisma, which supposedly supports good kidney health
  • Anemarrhena, which has been used as an anti-inflammatory in Chinese medicine for generations
  • Phellodendron Bark, an herbal remedy used for managing osteoarthritis, weight loss, and skin conditions like psoriasis

There are no indications of how much of each ingredient is used to create each 700mg tablet. All of these ingredients have only limited scientific evidence to back up their holistic medicinal claims.

Femi Yin For Menopause Reviews: What Do Customers Have to Say?

Femi-Yin’s online reputation isn’t exactly stellar. Its Amazon listing has perhaps a half a dozen reviews, almost evenly split between “this product works incredibly well” and “this product is garbage.”

Pros:

  • Likely Safe – There’s no indications that any of the ingredients in Femi-Yin are dangerous or harmful to the human body when taken in the small doses recommended by the manufacturer.
  • All-Natural – Femi-In is non-GMO, gluten free, and is a vegetarian product. This is a selling point for many.

Cons:

  • No Clinical Proof – There’s absolutely zero clinical proof that any of the eight ingredients in Femi-Yin actually have any effect on managing the symptoms of menopause.

Should You Buy Femi Yin For Menopause?

If you’re a fan of Chinese holistic medicine, Femi-Yin will be right up your alley considering that it has all the ingredients that Chinese folk healers have been using for generations to help soothe menopause symptoms. However, if you prefer your supplements more science-based, you’ll be disappointed to know that there’s insufficient evidence that any of these Chinese herbs do what these generations of healers say they do.

As far as whether or not the product works, that’s a crap shoot. Around half of the reviews out there say yes, the rest say no. You can try for yourself if you’re willing to put down your hard-earned money, but don’t be surprised if it’s a bust.
