EverlyWell is a home health test provider that offers a range of different tests – including food sensitivity tests and thyroid tests. Find out if EverlyWell is worth the price today in our review.
What is EverlyWell?
EverlyWell is a private company that has partnered with laboratories across America to offer a variety of health tests. You pay for the tests online, then EverlyWell ships the testing kit to your address. You provide a biological sample (like a cheek swab or small blood sample), then receive the results of your test soon after.
Some of the company’s most popular tests include testosterone tests, thyroid tests, and cholesterol tests.
Instead of ordering these tests through your medical doctor and going to the lab they recommend, you can perform these tests discreetly at home. Each EverlyWell product listing online has a “traditional lab visit” estimated price. EverlyWell claims the food sensitivity test, for example, costs “up to $1,000” from conventional labs. By working with EverlyWell, you can save money and avoid going to a lab in-person.
EverlyWell doesn’t actually perform testing itself. Instead, it contracts testing to third party CLIA-certified labs across the United States. Results are also reviewed by doctors prior to being given to patients.
Your test results are provided online in an easy-to-understand way, including visual information on how your data compares to data of other people in your age group.
EverlyWell Products
EverlyWell offers all of the following tests and products:
Food Sensitivity Test ($199)
This test measures your sensitivity to common food allergens, including gluten, wheat, milk, soy, peanut, avocado, and 90 other common foods in the American diet (there are 96 foods in total). The test kit is shipped directly to you. You provide a few drops of blood, then ship it back to EverlyWell. The kit comes with complete instructions on how to collect your blood sample, so no medical doctor or experience is necessary.
Other foods tested in EverlyWell’s food sensitivity test including everything from coffee to chicken to dairy milk to broccoli.
Thyroid Test ($199)
The EverlyWell Thyroid Test measures your TSH, TPO, Free T3, and Free T4 markers. These markers help accurately indicate whether you have an underactive or overactive thyroid.
The test requires a blood spot test. Then, your sample is shipped to the lab where it’s tested for the hormones listed above. The test is designed for people who think they have thyroid problems. Signs of thyroid problems include sluggishness and fatigue, weight gain, mental fogginess, nervousness and anxiety, increased appetite, and more. Obviously, all of us suffer from at least one of these problems from time to time, so a thyroid test can help you determine whether or not there’s a medical basis.
Testosterone Test ($79)
Have you ever wondered if you have low testosterone? Testosterone is the primary male hormone. Both men and women produce testosterone, but testosterone is particularly important to the male body.
EverlyWell’s $79 testosterone test requires just a sample of your saliva. Tests are shipped to your door, you provide a saliva sample, and then you can view how your testosterone levels compare to people in your age group. You can see whether you have a normal range, low testosterone, or high testosterone, for example.
Men’s Health Test ($179)
The EverlyWell Men’s Health Test tests the male body for a variety of markers, including testosterone, DHEA, Estradiol, and Cortisol. The test kit is shipped directly to your door, and you just need to provide a small saliva sample.
We already talked about the importance of testosterone testing. DHEA, on the other hand, is a common steroidal hormone responsible for muscle building, mood, libido, and other parts of the male body. DHEA declines in the male body throughout your 20s, and continues to decline through middle age.
Estradiol is the most prevalent form of estrogen. It’s primarily a female hormone, but estradiol can be performed from DHEA or testosterone through a normal process. If your body has high estradiol levels, it could indicate your body has some gland function problems.
Finally, cortisol is the primary stress hormone. Measuring your cortisol hormone gives you an indication of where you are in the hormone balance.
Cholesterol and Lipids Test ($79)
The cholesterol and lipids test, according to EverlyWell, is one of the best ways to assess your overall health.
The test measures your Hba1c, total cholesterol, LDL/HDL cholesterol breakdown, triglycerides, and hs-CRP. Unlike traditional tests, EverlyWell measures direct LDL, which is purportedly more precise. The test kit is shipped to your address, and you need to provide only a few drops of blood.
Inflammation and Vitamin D Test ($99)
The inflammation and vitamin D test helps you determine whether or not your body has excess inflammation problems. It measures your vitamin D levels and “high sensitivity C-reactive protein” (hs-CRP). You just need to provide a few drops of blood as a sample. Inflammation is a sign your body’s immune system is working like it’s supposed to work, but excess inflammation can lead to serious health problems.
Heavy Metals Test ($199)
Does your body have excess buildup of heavy metals? EverlyWell’s Heavy Metals test will test your urine for arsenic, mercury, cadmium, bromine, selenium, iodine, and urinary creatinine.
Only a small amount of urine is needed. The test is available for anyone, but it’s particularly recommended for those who smoke, anyone who is exposed to heavy metals through work, those who live in older homes, and anyone who has thyroid-related issues.
Women’s Health and Fertility ($399)
This test can help you assess your overall female body health, including your chances of conceiving a baby. The test measures things like estradiol, progesterone, luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, DHEA, total testosterone, cortisol x4, thyroid-stimulating hormone, free T3, free T4, and thyroid peroxidase antibodies.
All of the above markers are instrumental in a woman’s fertility and overall wellness. The EverlyWell test will determine how your levels compare with the levels of other women.
For this test, you only need to provide a few small drops of blood and a saliva sample. That’s it.
Sleep and Stress Test ($249)
Do you have trouble sleeping? It might not be your fault. The EverlyWell sleep and stress test will measure your cortisol, cortisone, melatonin, and creatinine levels 4 times throughout the day. The testing kit tells you when to provide a urine sample. Then, the lab will determine how your levels of these crucial sleep hormones compare to others.
Metabolism Test ($99)
The EverlyWell metabolism test measures your cortisol, testosterone, and thyroid-stimulating hormone to determine how your metabolism is affected. Your metabolism plays a crucial role on your weight gain and energy levels. Many people blame their bad metabolism for their health problems – but they may not actually have metabolism problems. This test will help you determine if your metabolism is to blame.
How the Tests Work
All of the test work in a similar way:
Step 1) You order a test online, then wait for it to arrive at your doorstep
Step 2) You collect a sample from the comfort of your own home, then send the sample through the mail to a CLIA-certified lab
Step 3) Your results are reviewed by a board-certified physician, then are available online in a few short days
Test results are delivered in a colorful, visual, easy-to-read way. EverlyWell promises to provide actionable results with detailed information about each marker tested – even if you don’t have any background in science, biology, or medicine.
Tests are not available in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island for regulatory reasons.

What Do Customers Have to Say About EverlyWell Tests?
EverlyWell is generally well-reviewed online. The company is relatively new, so there isn’t a lot of information currently available.
However, a number of online bloggers have received samples of the testing kits. The food sensitivity tests are particularly popular. This reviewer at PowerCakes.net learned she had a reaction to almonds and green beans through her test. She also indicated that she had a similar test performed years ago – and it cost 4 times as much. The blogger claims she noticed her body had minor physiological changes when she ate too many almonds in the past, so the EverlyWell test helped confirm her suspicions.
Another reviewer at BodyRebooted.com claims that the blood sample was surprisingly easy. She cleaned her fingertip, pricked her finger with the safety lancet, then allowed the blood to drop into the circles on the protein saver card. Just like the PowerCakes.net reviewer, this reviewer claims she suffered from eczema and the test helped her identify the cause of that eczema.
Both of the reviewers listed above provide affiliate discount codes, which means they receive a discount for referring you to the EverlyWell tests.
Should You Buy an EverlyWell Test?
Overall, there are dozens of EverlyWell test reviews available online today. However, most of these reviews come from mommy-style bloggers or female fitness bloggers who focus purely on the food sensitivity test. And these bloggers are paid to push you towards the service – so they’re not totally unbiased.
That being said, most reviewers seem to indicate that the EverlyWell tests work as advertised to provide good, actionable insights into your personal health. The tests are easy to perform at home, and require you to provide a urine, saliva, or blood drop sample. You can perform the test discreetly without visiting a lab or talking to your doctor. Your test results are reviewed by a doctor before they’re delivered to you.
Ultimately, based on all of this information, EverlyWell appears to offer strong biological tests that give you actionable insights into your personal health.
