Directions For Use
Dissolve 1 to 3 packets of Domeboro in a 16-OZ (.473 Ltr) of water and stir until fully dissolved.
Do not filter the residue, if any.
The resulting mixture should contain aluminium acetate in the following combination, 0.16% if using 1 packet and 0.32% if you used 2 packets. For 3 packets, there should be a combination of 0.48%. Now the solution is ready for use. This can be applied as a Soak or as a Wrapping.
To use as a soak:
Soak the area of the body which is affected in the solution for 15 to 30 minutes, ensuring you observe the general prescription, or as directed by a physician. Do this three times a day. Use new solution after each use.
For use as a compressor wet dressing:
Soak a clean and soft cloth in the dissolved solution. Apply the wet cloth loosely on the affected area for 15 to 30 minutes. Repeat as needed or as directed by a physician. Remember to use new solution for each use. Don’t cover it with plastic to avoid evaporation, as it may over dry the skin.
