The Bison Rolling Grill is an innovative newly designed portable grill. It looks to be ideal for anyone looking to go camping or grilling without having to carry around a bulky grill. The Bison Rolling Grill was created by a group of people, living in the city of Oakland California. They wanted a sleekly designed grill that would be ideal for anyone who loves excursions and the outdoors.
The team who designed it has put a lot of time and energy into from the looks of it. It’s still on Kickstarted as of now, and the team has achieved their desired funding of $36,000.
The grill was designed for anyone loving the outdoors. They have said the grill will be released in July of 2017. Perfect for the upcoming summer months and any outdoor adventures.
How Was the Bison Rolling Grill Designed?
A group of people from Oakland where frustrated with the currently available grills. They were sick of the bulkiness, the heaviness and the cost of the grills on the market. So they decided they would create their own grills in order to have a product designed to their liking.
The team is composed of several entrepreneurs, most of whom regular guys and gals. They also have engineers, artists and designers on the team. They wanted to make sure their innovation would work properly and be of the highest quality.
The design of the grill was based upon bamboo sushi rollers. They wanted something that could be broken down and stowed in a small, carry-able case.
The Bison Rolling Grill is under two pounds when fully broken down. Even though it is portable and light weight, it looks to be very sturdy for use. The Bison Grill looks like it will be one of the breakthrough products released soon.
What Materials are Used in the Bison Rolling Grill?
Since the Bison Grill is light weight, it is designed out of strong yet lightweight materials. The skeleton of the grill is designed from very strong, and extremely light aluminum. The grill is hollow making it even lighter. But in order to make it more durable it has been coated in heavy duty Teflon coating. The coating was also used to make the grill easier to clean, so there wouldn’t be damage to the hollow Aluminum.
The designed liked the breakdown of the sushi roller. So there are straight arms on each side that slide on and off to make the rolling effect stable. Then there are four legs that fold on and off so you can stabilize it over an open flame.
You can even fold the legs up and put the grill straight on top of other grill, like those you’d find at a campsite of park. They also wanted to make sure it was safer and cleaner than other grills.
Is the Bison Rolling Grill Safe?
Yes, according the team who designed the grill, it’s 100% safe. The materials used are safe for food items and the fact that you can clean it so easily, plus its ability to be put on top of a grill… Makes it one of the safest grills around.

Bison Rolling Grill Review Summary
One of the other attributes or faults of the grill, depending on how your look at it, is the hollow design air flow. The hollow design of the grill will stop the effects of charring. That means, you’ll almost never get any grill marks or “burning” as they call it.
Some people like the burn marks on meats and veggies. Other people who are more conscious of health, will likely appreciate the non-burning effects of the Bison Grill.
Overall, the grill looks to be a cool product, that would be perfect for solo hikers and back packers or couples. If you’re the type of person who appreciates the outdoors and also likes cool new products, then the Bison Grill will perfect for you.
You pledge on them now at Kickstarter. The grill runs $49.00 and runs up from there. If you pledge enough you can also get a cool t-shirt from the company and join them on a BBQ and trip around the SF Bay Area later this year (2017).
