Production Process
To make a quality product requires quality production.
The process can be broken down into 3 steps:
- The process begins with the fruits and vegetables to be included in the juices undergo a rigorous process of being inspected thoroughly and then cleaned.
After this, they enter into a closed off manufacturing processed. Biotta claims that after this step, the juices won’t be exposed to air again until a customer opens the bottle.
- You might think the next step is Biotta pressing the fruit/vegetables for juices, and you’d be wrong. The juice isn’t pressed out, it’s pulled out through a process of centrifugation.
For those of you not familiar, centrifugation is an apparatus that rotates at high speed and by centrifugal force separates substances of different densities.
Science is awesome.
- The third step is pasteurization. This occurs under low heat to ensure nutrients remain in tact. After this is done, it’s time for inspection, which is the last thing to occur before the juice is shipped off.
