Meanwhile, Sculptessence contains water, glycerin, linseed seed extract, and Betula Alba (birch) juice. Once again, there’s no third party evidence that this formula works as advertised to reduce the effects of aging on your skin.
— Idealift: Idealift claims to be clinically shown to “increase fibroblasts by 94%” while also providing firmer skin for 80% of study participants. These numbers sound good, but unfortunately, there’s no third party evidence reinforcing these claims – so it appears the numbers come from a in-house study.
— Caviar Extract: It’s unclear what, exactly, caviar extract might be. Beverly Hills MD never explains which part of the fish eggs the caviar extract might come from, or which ingredient may be used. Thus, it’s difficult to determine whether or not caviar extract is an effective anti-aging ingredient.
— Silk Peptides: Silk peptides are a big buzzword in the anti-aging industry, but don’t fall for the marketing hype. Silk peptides are simply “naturally occurring biological molecules” that work in a similar way to proteins while containing 50 or fewer amino acids. If the peptides contained more than 50 amino acids, they’d be known as proteins. There’s limited evidence supporting silk peptides can prevent aging, and it’s unclear where the silk peptides used in Beverly Hills MD Lift & Firm might come from.
