Cavalier, found online at BeCavalier.com, is a men’s nutritional supplement company established in 2014. Find out everything you need to know about Cavalier products today in our review.
What is Cavalier?
Cavalier is a lineup of men’s health supplements that come in luxuriously-branded containers. Contrary to what the BeCavalier.com website looks like, Cavalier is not a men’s fashion company: it’s a company that sells five different health supplements designed to help your male body in different ways.
There’s a sexual health support supplement, for example, as well as a prostate support supplement.
Using the company’s products, you can “step up and be cavalier”, which is the company’s official slogan.
They add that you can, “Be a refined, polished and courteous gentleman; holding the highest standards for yourself and others.” Each of the company’s bottles also says that the supplement inside is “for gentlemen of high distinction.”
Clearly, Cavalier is trying to add an aura of luxury to its products. Do Cavalier products really offer luxurious quality? Or are they just ordinary supplements wrapped up in expensive packaging? Let’s take a closer look at the products in the Cavalier lineup.
Cavalier Products
Cavalier products include a Daily Sexual Health Support supplement, a Daily Joint Health Support supplement, a Daily Prostate Support formula, a Daily Cognitive Stress Support supplement, and a Daily Testosterone Support formula.
All of these supplements come in tablet form in Cavalier’s distinctive packaging, which includes a matte-colored glass bottle with a cork at the top.
You pop the cork, then take the tablets daily as directed to support various health goals. Here’s a breakdown of each individual Cavalier formula:
Daily Sexual Health Support
Sexual health is a key health goal for any man. As Cavalier’s sales page colorfully explains, “A gentleman’s passion and his lust for expression shouldn’t dull with time.”
The active ingredient in the formula is velvet bean mucuna pruriens, a popular plant extract that’s traditionally used to increase male fertility. The extract may mildly enhance dopamine levels in the brain.
Its aphrodisiac effects aren’t really proven, and more research needs to be done to confirm it works.
Daily Joint Health Support
This supplement introduces itself with another nonsensical (and grammatically incorrect) sentence, saying, “A gentleman grabs life by the horns.
Sprightly and uninhibited by physical restraints, part of his charm is that he knows no limits and pursues the best things in life.” Okay, Cavalier.
This appears to be a straightforward joint health supplement made from ingredients like vitamin C, vitamin D, glucosamine, MSM, turmeric, quercetin, and devil’s claw. It’s similar to many other herbal-based joint pain relief supplements you can find on Amazon.
Daily Prostate Support
The Cavalier Daily Prostate Support supplement is for a gentleman “who takes pride in staying fit and healthy both inside and out.” The formula uses proven prostate health-supporting ingredients like vitamin D, zinc, and saw palmetto.
Daily Cognitive Stress Support
Want to boost your brain health as you age? Well, in case you didn’t know, Cavalier says that “The gentleman is in control of his thoughts and actions.”
In order to do that, you need to take a cognitive and stress support supplement (evidently).
That supplement lists just one ingredient called Zembrin, a registered trademark formula made by a supplement manufacturer named Dr. Williams. One 2013 study on Zembrin published in Neuropsychopharmacology described the formula has an extract from the South African plant Sceletium tortuosum.
In that study, 16 healthy participants took the extract while having their brains scanned.
Participants who took the extract were observed to have less of a response to threats, indicating that it can be used as a potential anti-anxiety treatment. No other ingredients are listed in Cavalier’s Cognitive Stress Support supplement.
Daily Testosterone Support
Cavalier’s Daily Testosterone Support supplement claims to promote lean muscle, boost natural testosterone production, and increase sexual function. The active ingredient is ashwagandha. Ashwagandha is one of those “cure all” herbal extracts found in everything from weight loss pills to nootropics.
Some sources online say it can be used to boost testosterone, although there isn’t enough evidence supporting these effects.
Who Makes Cavalier Supplements?
Cavalier was launched in 2014 as a lineup of luxury men’s health supplements (or at least, supplements packaged in luxurious-looking bottles). The company’s products are sold through Amazon, GNC, and other retailers.
You can view the company’s Facebook page here or their Instagram here. The company describes itself as “a premium line of dietary supplements built to support the rigors of every day life.”
If you need to get in touch with the company, you can do so by phone at 888-998-6763 or by email at [email protected].
Cavalier doesn’t say much about itself online. But with a bit of digging, we were able to find that the brand is owned by a company named Woodbolt Distribution, LLC, which also does business under the name Nutrabolt. That company is located at the following address in Bryan, Texas:
3891 S. Traditions Dr.
Bryan, Texas 77807
Nutrabolt’s official website describes itself as “a fast-growing nutritional life science company”. The company is best-known for its Cellucor C4 Pre-Workout powder, which is one of the most popular preworkouts in the world today. C4 was launched in 2010.
In addition to its Texas office, Nutrabolt maintains locations in Mississauga, Ontario, and Melbourne, Australia.
Cavalier Pricing
Cavalier products all seem to be priced between $30 and $40 online. However, at the time of writing, only the Sexual Health Support and Prostate Support Formula were available (both were available through Amazon, but only the Sexual Health Support was available through GNC). Here’s what pricing looks like on Amazon:
-Daily Sexual Health Support (60 Capsules): $38.99
-Daily Prostate Support (90 Capsules): $29.99
On GNC, the Sexual Health Support is priced at $59.99, although the member price drops it down to $29.99.
The Cavalier website doesn’t feature extensive ingredient information, although the Amazon and GNC pages do. Thanks to GNC, we know the Sexual Health Blend contains 1823mg of total formula (in each 3 capsule serving, 20 servings per container), although none of the individual dosages are listed.
The four ingredients include mucuna pruriens seed extract, maca root extract, Muira pauma extract, and ginkgo bark extract – all of which you can find in other sexual health supplements.
Cavalier Supplements Review Summary
Cavalier supplements obviously has a unique marketing approach, filled with colorfully-worded (and grammatically-problematic) sentences and a commitment to this mythological idea of what it means to be a “gentleman” – including the things a gentleman should and should not do.
The supplements themselves don’t seem particularly different from others on the market – aside from the stylish (and very cool-looking) packaging.
If you’re the type of person who wants to feel validated as a “gentleman” every time you pop the cork off your nutritional supplements, then Cavalier might be for you.
Fancy packaging aside, Cavalier supplements seem to have a strong dose of many of the same ingredients you find in other supplements.
They’re not particularly unique ingredients – but they’re available at a competitive price (assuming you’re paying $30 to $40 per bottle). They’re also made by the same Texas-based company that made Cellucor C4 preworkout and other popular supplement brands.
If you can get past the cheesy marketing (or if you like the whole “gentleman” marketing approach), then Cavalier is a lineup of reasonably-priced supplements available online today through GNC and Amazon.
