Attach-A-Trash – Disposal Trash Bag Holder For Meal Preparation?

on

Attach-A-Trash is a brand new product that recently launched through an As Seen On TV advertising campaign. Find out what real customers have to say about this trash bag holder today in our review.

What is Attach-A-Trash?

Attach-A-Trash is a kitchen device that lets you easily attach a trash bag to any drawer or cabinet in your home.

Why would you need to do that? Well, if you’ve ever prepared food on your countertops, then you know you’re often left with a mess at the end. Typically, you have to scrape that mess into your hand, then dump it into the trash under your sink. Or, you have to drag your trash can out from under the sink, then place it underneath the countertop. Neither of these solutions is ideal.

Attach-A-Trash is designed to solve these problems by clipping onto any drawer or cabinet. The small plastic device can hold up to 10 pounds of weight. It even comes with a lid – so you trash isn’t exposed in your kitchen.

Not handy with tools? That’s okay – because the Attach-A-Trash can be installed without screws or any other tools. You just slide the plastic clip over your drawer or cabinet, then attach a bag. That’s it.

Attach-A-Trash is advertised as an eco-friendly solution for the home.

Attach-A-Trash Features

  • Clips onto any drawer or cabinet
  • Holds up to 10 pounds
  • Reuse plastic grocery bags
  • Easy to store (“unlike bulky garbage cans”, explains the official website)
  • No screws or tools required to install
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Lid doubles as a squeegee

Essentially, Attach-A-Trash is a tool that gives you a hands-free garbage bag underneath the countertop in your kitchen. Instead of being left with mess on your floors after preparing food, you can scrape leftovers directly into the bag.

In promotional images for the Attach-A-Trash, the bag is seen holding about 20 apples. It’s rated to hold up to 10 pounds.

Another neat feature is that you can remove the lid of the garbage can so it doubles as a squeegee, letting you easily scrape food leftovers into the garbage can below.

Because of all these features, Attach-A-Trash is recommended as a solution in the bathroom and kitchen, according to the manufacturer. I’m not sure why you would need to scrape garbage on your bathroom countertops into a bin, but the manufacturer recommends it as an option.

Attach-A-Trash Pricing

Oddly, Attach-A-Trash doesn’t let you order just one. You need to order two at a time – and the second product isn’t free. Why would you need two garbage bag holders in your home? I don’t know. But in any case, here’s how pricing breaks down:

  • 2 Attach-A-Trash Units: $27.98
  • 4 Attach-A-Trash Units: $55.96
  • 6 Attach-A-Trash Units: $83.94

Shipping is included in the above prices.

It’s always a bit of a red flag when the manufacturer refuses to let you buy just one unit. This is something that’s common in the As Seen On TV industry, but it’s annoying for customers who only need one unit, and don’t want to pay an extra fee for the second unit.

All purchases come with a 30 day money back guarantee. You can return the product for any reason within 30 days, and your refund will be processed within 30 to 60 business days. You will not receive a refund on your shipping costs.

Who Makes Attach-A-Trash?

Attach-A-Trash is made by a company named Novel Brands. That company is based in Fairfield, New Jersey.

You can get in touch with the company’s customer service department by phone at 1 (973) 227-3486 extension 0. Customer service is available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm ET.

Novel Brands, LLC was founded in 2011, which makes it one of the newer members of the ASOTV industry. The company is best known for products like Stain Stompers, Hair Tie Angel, Precise Pedi, and Mighty Bright, all of which have appeared in infomercials in recent years.

Should You Buy Attach-A-Trash?

Attach-A-Trash is a brand new ASOTV product created by Novel Brands. It just launched, so there are few legitimate customer reviews available online (the “customers” in the infomercial don’t count).

The product appears to work as advertised to help you more easily dispose of trash from your kitchen countertops. However, the fact that Attach-A-Trash comes as part of a mandatory double offer is annoying: normally, the price is $20, although you’ll need to pay a total price of $28 for the double offer. You don’t have the choice to buy a single unit.

Why would you need two Attach-A-Trash units? Are you really going to take the time to setup your Attach-A-Trash after preparing a meal in your kitchen? Are you willing to pay $28 for a plastic garbage bag holder? These are all good questions that you’ll need to answer before you buy Attach-A-Trash.
