After a workout, your muscles will begin to repair themselves. This is the process during which they will become stronger. If your body does not receive the proper amount of rest needed for this to occur, you will not achieve the results you are working so hard to get. As a general rule of thumb, you should wait at least 2 days after working a major muscle group to work that same group again.
