Actively is an app designed to help manage your busy, active lifestyle. The app is available by invitation only to participants at select studios. It just launched in July 2017, and appears to be targeted New York fitness studios before any other locations.
You can request an invite through the official site at Actively.ai. The app is not yet available on any app store.
With the help of Actively and its AI assistant, Ellie, you can fit fitness classes into your busy schedule. You input your daily schedule into the app, then input your active packages – like your subscriptions with your local yoga, barre, or gym studio.

How Does Actively Work?
Actively works across multiple studios to help manage your favorite fitness classes.
The entire app is powered by an artificial intelligence assistance named Ellie. Ellie introduces herself with the following message:
“Hey, I’m Ellie – your booking assistant. If you need anything, I’m ready to help!”
Basically, you use Actively to find classes that match with your schedule. To get started, you input your schedule and active packages into Actively, then make bookings directly through the app. You can book any class with a single tap.
When you open the app, you’ll see crucial information on the front page. At the top, you’ll see a list of upcoming classes that can fit into your schedule. You might see a notification for “Yoga” at 330pm this Saturday in Williamsburg, for example.
Then, underneath that section, you’ll see a scrolling menu of classes you’ve previously taken. That section is called “Book Again” – so if you really liked a recent class, then you can view upcoming times for that class.
At the bottom is a section called “Suggested Classes”, where you can view a list of suggested classes that could fit into your schedule.
There’s also a “Your Studios” section, where you can add and remove different studios to your list. Say, if you’re subscribed to multiple gyms or studios, you can view that information here.
You can also check your schedule by date, and see how different fitness classes fit into your schedule. The Actively app has a calendar feature where you can browse through upcoming dates and view different classes available to you.
Everything is presented in a minimalistic, easy-to-use environment. The app tells you the most important information about the class (the time, duration, name, instructor, and location) without overwhelming you with images or details.
