His story, began with Laraine, who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. And, was handed a life sentence when she was told she had less than one year to live. She found Kombucha, and ancient healing ‘product’ that was gifted to her through a family friend. The Dave’s used this regularly, and began making homemade batches of what might be described as a ‘fizzy fermented tea’.
To everyone’s surprise, the tumour originally discovered was benign, and the cancer was dormant. Doctors, were unable to make rhyme or reason of how this Kombucha had changed the direction of her disease. Inspired, GT Dave wanted to share this with the world.
So, at age 15, he started bottling his homemade Kombucha and sharing it with others. He continues to be hands on in this practice even a couple decades later. This is where GTS Living Foods was birthed.
They have expanded into several different flavors now – calling themselves the Synergy Kombucha Line.
