Regenix Review – Does It Actually Work?

Regenix is a natural hair loss treatment created by the Regenix Hair Loss Clinic. Does the Regenix treatment actually work to reverse hair loss? Find out today in our review.

What is Regenix?

Regenix is a hair loss treatment that uses naturally-derived, liquid biopharmaceuticals applied topically to the scalp. The treatment can take place at the Regenix Hair Loss Clinic in Los Angeles or in your own home.

All treatment programs are individually formulated for your needs. The clinic takes into account your own physical characteristics and history in order to effectively prevent baldness while enhancing your existing hair.

Regenix Hair Loss Clinic has been serving Los Angeles since 1993. The clinic is located in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Office Towers. Over the years, the clinic claims to have treated over 100,000 individuals.

One of those individuals is Matthew McConaughey. In a testimonial posted on the Regenix homepage, McConaughey claims he’s been using Regenix “for healthy hair to keep this hair strong, because some of this hair was falling out. Now my hairline’s better than when I was 18.”

Whether you undergo Regenix treatment at the clinic or at-home, you pay the same price – approximately $150 to $200 per month for the first few months.

How does Regenix work? Let’s take a look at the science behind this popular hair loss treatment.

How Does Regenix Work?

There are two ways to undergo Regenix. First, you can visit the Regenix Hair Loss Clinic in Los Angeles to receive an instant, customized treatment program.

Or, you can order the Regenix program at home without ever having to visit a clinic. You still get a custom formula designed specifically for your hair. All you need to do is send Regenix hair samples every three months. The company will then analyze your hair samples and adjust your treatment formula as you progress.

You can send in your hair sample prior to buying the kit. Or, you can buy the kit and send in hair samples as you progress through the treatment program.

The custom Regenix formula consists of natural ingredients that are FDA approved for safety. Unlike drug-based hair loss treatments, there’s no risk of side effects, according to Regenix.

You also don’t need to continuously apply the formula for the rest of your life. Instead, you can gradually wean yourself off the formula:

“With Regenix, you can gradually phase out of the program, and an occasional maintenance treatment is all that is needed to prevent the recurrence of the problem”, the manufacturer claims.

That maintenance program is priced at around $20 per month.

That’s different than FDA-approved hair loss treatments like minoxidil (sold under the brand name Rogaine and others). These treatments override hair loss problems rather than address the problems at their root. This can lead to short-term hair growth, but they’re rarely effective long-term.

One important thing to remember is that Regenix never claims to be able to grow hair on a bald scalp. Instead, the treatment focuses on hair loss prevention and reversing the negative conditions that lead to hair loss. The treatment formula promises to enhance your existing hair by increasing its thickness and fullness, leading to the appearance of better hair growth. However, if you’re expecting Regenix to regrow hair where you don’t have hair, then you’re going to be disappointed.

How Does Regenix Prevent Hair Loss?

Regenix’s treatment consists of three stages, including:

Stage 1 – Local

This stage eliminates dandruff, itching, dryness, and oiliness while increasing blood circulation to the region. It prepares the scalp for further treatment and cleanses the entrances of the follicles.

Stage 2 – Structural:

This stage applies a custom formula with a “family of elements that deal with the acute problems within the hair follicles that can cause hair loss.” Regenix claims this stage will stabilize the thinning process while neutralizing any negative genetic factor.

Stage 3 – Developmental:

This final custom formula is made from a different family of elements and is designed to add even more thickness and strength into your thinning hair.

The success rate for this treatment is close to 100%. Obviously, not all hair loss treatments work on all people. That’s why Regenix pre-screens clients using hair micro-analysis. Regenix also claims that the treatment is equally as effective on both men and women, and approximately 40% of the clinic’s clients are women.

If you can’t go to the Regenix clinic in Los Angeles, then your next best option is to order Regenix products online, where they’re available at the following rates:

If you want to join the official Regenix treatment program, then you’ll need to buy the Natural Hair Loss Treatment Jumpstart Kit ($173), which includes free hair micro-analysis. You can only order one kit per customer, and that kit comes with DVD instructions and written instructions on how to follow through with the treatment program.

Some people will also request a free hair microanalysis prior to ordering the Jump Start Kit. You can order this test from the official Regenix website for free before ordering the kit.

The treatment itself consists of one bottle (stage 1) containing liquid solution. You apply that bottle to your scalp daily before paying more to order stages 2 and 3 (based on the hair sample you provide).

Regenix Ingredients

Regenix uses many different ingredients in its hair loss treatments. The company actually doesn’t list its ingredients upfront, since the formulas vary widely between customers.

Nevertheless, the company claims that all Regenix hair loss treatments use natural ingredients or naturally-derived ingredients with no side effects. And, all ingredients are FDA approved for safety.

Regenix Pricing

The Regenix at-home introductory kit is priced at $173.

That price covers the first stage of the Regenix treatment. It consists of a 30 day supply (12 vials) of the company’s bio-pharmaceutical hair loss treatment along with a selection of hygiene products.

Afterwards, you can start stages 2 and 3. You can pre-pay for these stages to get a discount. The larger the number of pre-paid treatments, the less the cost per treatment will be.

If you don’t prepay for treatments, the cost per treatment vial will be $31. As you prepay for more and more treatments, that cost will lower to $11. Regenix estimates the average monthly costs of an active program to be $140 to $300.

After completing this stage, you enter the maintenance stage of the program. Regenix claims this stage can cost as little as $20 per month.

Regenix is not covered by insurance. Pricing is the same whether you’re paying at the clinic or paying for the at-home treatment.

About Regenix

You can get in touch with Regenix by calling 1-800-734-3649. The company was founded in 1993 and has helped over 100,000 customers treat hair loss problems.

The company is based at the following Los Angeles address:

Cedars-Sinai Medical Office Towers
8631 West Third Street, Suite 420-E
Los Angeles, CA 90048

The company has been endorsed by Matthew McConaughey, who claims he used Regenix to treat his own hair loss problems. You can read his story at the Daily Mail website here.

Should You Use Regenix to Treat Hair Loss?

Regenix is different from most other hair loss treatments available today. Most hair loss treatments use drugs like minoxidil to regrow hair. Regenix takes a different approach, using naturally-derived biopharmaceutical ingredients to replenish the nutrients your hair needs to grow. The service has been around since 1993 and is endorsed by Matthew McConaughey and other celebrities.

Priced at around $150 to $200 per month for the first few months, Regenix isn’t cheap. However, that price includes regular hair tests. You send your hair into Regenix for testing, and they send you the custom formula you need to regrow your hair.

Regenix, like most hair loss treatments, makes no claims to regrow hair on bald parts of your scalp. However, if you want to encourage thicker, fuller hair growth across your scalp, then Regenix may be the hair loss treatment for you.

  1. So are you saying it works? What about the Dht. What has most people skeptical is that the results have been very fast for Mc Conaughey and he was quite receding, so basically it grew thin hair very thick.

  2. I am interested in trying this treatment. I tried Rogaine for over 2 years but it didn’t do anything for my thinning hair. I used to have much thicker hair but once I started menopause my hair started to thin. I use bioidentical hormones but not testosterone. I’m now 65 and my hair has thinned a lot to the point where my part is getting wider and my scalp is showing is on my crown and I know my hair is thinning on top. Do you ship to Canada? If so, I know this is going to cost a lot considering our exchange rate. Do you know on average how long treatments go on before people go to the maintenance plan. I keep my hair very short. Are the samples usually cuttings from the hairdresser?
