Tsogo – Complete Nutritional Whole Food Fruit & Veggie Powders?

on

Tsogo is a unique new smoothie supplement that promises to totally replace food in your life – so you never have to go grocery shopping again. Here’s our Tsogo review.

What is Tsogo?

Tsogo is a powdered beverage that promises to be a 100% food replacement. Just like Soylent and similar products, Tsogo claims to have everything you need for nutrition – including all your required vitamins, minerals, fats, carbs, and proteins.

Tsogo was successfully funded through Indiegogo in February 2016. Today, it’s available to order online through Tsogo.com.

The makers of Tsogo claim their beverage is “the future of food” and that you’ll never have to go grocery shopping again. Let’s take a closer look at what’s inside.

What’s in Tsogo?

There are three varieties of Tsogo, including Tsogo Classic, Tsogo Fit, and Tsogo Complete. You mix these ingredients with frozen fruits and vegetables – also sold through Tsogo. The company claims there are thousands of flavor combinations, and you can combine different flavors to make your perfect smoothie.

Below, you’ll find a breakdown of the ingredients in each formula.

Tsogo Classic

The Classic formula acts as a nutritionally complete meal replacement, complete with a balance of healthy fats, proteins, and carbs. The formula comes in 400 calorie servings and multiple flavors. Some of the key ingredients include rice protein, sunflower oil powder, oat flour, tapioca starch, honey powder, and a vitamin and mineral blend. There’s 17g of protein in each serving. The formula is sweetened with stevia extract and sugar (there’s 10g of sugar in each serving).

Tsogo Fit

The Fit version of the formula is designed especially for active individuals. It contains similar ingredients to the Classic formula, but uses more plant-based proteins along with complete amino acids, omega fatty acids, and healthy carbs. Each serving delivers 20g of clean, plant-based protein as well as superfoods like chia, hemp, flax, and more. There’s also only 150 calories per serving – much less than the 400 calories per serving in the Classic formula.

Tsogo Complete

The Complete formula is a total meal replacement (like the Classic) that’s been mixed with additional superfoods like chia, hemp, and flax. It’s like a mix between the Classic and Fit formulas. There’s 16g of plant-based protein in each serving, along with 210 calories and plenty of omega 3s and other ingredients.

Who Makes Tsogo?

Prior to launching Tsogo, the company sold freeze-dried fruits, vegetables, and meals for over a decade in the emergency preparedness industry. The company specializes in frozen food, which they say is healthy, tastes great, and minimizes waste while maximizing convenience.

The company was founded by Jeff Davis and Paul Fulton. The two co-founders claim they’ve drank Tsogo smoothies “nearly every day since August 1, 2015”.

You can get in touch with the Draper, Utah-based company by email at [email protected] or by phone at 1-877-TSOGO-55.

Should You Buy Tsogo?

Do you like making and eating smoothies – but find it annoying buying all the fresh fruit and vegetables? Tsogo may be the right smoothies for you. The smoothies promise to be nutritionally complete, which means they provide all of the nutrients the human body needs on a daily basis. The smoothies are competitively-priced compared to others on the market, and let you eat healthy food for about $10 per day (assuming you’re drinking 5 x 400 calorie portions).
