Created by two mechanical engineers, Michael Corrigan and David Kellock, after hearing an inspirational speech at their university, they realized that the speaker had the same passion for travel and adventure that they did. Putting their design skills to the test, in the summer of 2010, Michael and David thought back on their travels and agreed sitting for long periods of time was extremely uncomfortable.

Using three different components, the first part of the science of sleep includes strengthening the ribs. Scientifically proven to provide head and neck support, the Trtl Travel Pillow provides the support needed to keep the neck aligned with the spine and prevent sprains, discomfort, or potential injury.
The second piece of science that has been applied to the Trtl Travel Pillow design is the material. The soft fleece and foam are combined and stretched in order to create a hammock effect.
