What is TrimYou Spray?
TrimYou Spray is a health supplement sold online for $77 per bottle. Each bottle lasts for 43 days, described as one “full round” of treatment. In testimonials posted on the official website, customers claim they lost anywhere from 25 to 33 pounds over their 43 day period of taking TrimYou Spray.
Best of all, the makers of TrimYou Spray claim that their product has a 99% success rate. Since 2009, they’ve sold bottles of TrimYou Spray to over 30,000 satisfied customers for a collective weight loss of over 1 million pounds.
Unfortunately, as you’ll learn in the review below, there’s no evidence that TrimYou Spray will give you any weight loss benefits. There’s even a disclaimer at the bottom of the TrimYou Spray sales page that says “there is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from normal caloric restriction.”
Basically, TrimYou Spray is a bottle of water that makes enormous claims about its benefits despite being backed by no scientific evidence. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how TrimYou Spray claims to work.
How Does TrimYou Spray Work?
TrimYou Spray is a homeopathic formula, which means it uses an ultra-diluted concentration that consists mostly (99% or more) of water, mixed with a tiny concentration of the active ingredient. The makers of TrimYou Spray do not list their full ingredients list on their official website. For all we know, TrimYou Spray is just a bottle of water.
TrimYou Spray comes with an interesting story. Back in the 1950s, a British doctor named Dr. Simeons was stationed in India when he made a “revolutionary discovery”. He found a compound that let you target fat, preserve muscle, and rapidly lose weight without starving yourself.
The key to weight loss, according to Dr. Simeons, was maintaining the optimal level of a glycoprotein, a substance naturally found in the human body that triggers fat loss.
Dr. Simeons, explains the official TrimYou Spray website, “treated thousands of people over the next couple of decades with his diet protocol at his practice in Rome”. He published books and articles on weight loss. Eventually, doctors from the United States began to open “Dr. Simeons’ Protocol” weight loss clinics in America.
Dr. Simeons’ Protocol became popular in the 1970s, but eventually faded into obscurity. In the 1990s, it was revived by an author named Kevin Trudeau who wrote a bestselling book called “The Weight Loss Cure They Don’t Want You To Know About”.
The diet became popular again. However, there were two issues with the new Dr. Simeons’ Protocol:
-Problem #1: The Protocol required daily dietary injections.
-Problem #2: There was no guarantee that doctors were adhering to the original Dr. Simeons’ Protocol.
TrimYou was launched in 2009 to solve both of these problems. It claims it was the first and only certifying organization that ensured weight loss clinics were following Dr. Simeons’ original Protocol.
That was when someone launched a spray version of the hormone injections used in the Dr. Simeons’ Protocol. TrimYou set out to test these sprays, believing that they wouldn’t work. In fact, they found the opposite, and found that the TrimYou Spray is a homeopathic formula that works while staying true to the Dr. Simeons’ Protocol original.
Today, that same TrimYou Spray is available for anyone to purchase online.

TrimYou Spray does not mention any type of refund policy or guarantee on its website. All they say about the refund policy is this:

That’s a huge red flag: many diet pill manufacturers stand behind their supplements and offer, at the very least, a 30 day or 60 day refund policy. It’s unusual that the makers of TrimYou Spray make no mention of any refund policy.
Scientific Evidence for TrimYou Spray
Like virtually all homeopathic products, TrimYou Spray is backed by no scientific evidence. In fact, the bottom of the TrimYou Spray website literally says that there is no scientific evidence behind this product:
“There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction.”
When the official website has that word-for-word description on the front page, that’s not a good thing. TrimYou Spray may be a scam, but at least the makers of the formula are upfront about it.
Should You Take TrimYou Spray to Lose Weight?
TrimYou Spray has all of the makings of a scam. The company has no refund policy. The supplement is not approved by the FDA as a weight loss aid. There is no evidence that it works as advertised, and the active ingredients are not listed anywhere on the official website. The manufacturer admits on the sales page that “there is no substantial evidence” showing that TrimYou Spray will have any effect on your weight.
Making things look worse for TrimYou Spray is that it’s priced at nearly $90 (with shipping) for a small 1 ounce bottle. Why would you spend that much money on a bottle of formula that’s essentially water? I don’t know. Unless you believe that a $77 one ounce bottle of water is the key to your weight loss routine, you should avoid TrimYou Spray at all costs.
