About the Rumble Boxing Fitness Class
Rumble is a group of very athletic and professional trainers who decided to start Rumble when they saw an opening in the fitness world to move up old norms about exercising. With their personal backgrounds in fitness education and hospitality, as well as their shared urban-chic-meets-street point of views, the creation of Rumble was a sure thing.
The founders of the group believe that Rumble is the next generation of fitness organization. The people in Rumble don’t take themselves too seriously, but still, they deliver incredible and effective workouts.
Rumble is here to help those people who sincerely give everything to work out and at the same time want to have some fun along the process.
Whether you are searching for a psychically fit and strong body, toned abs, lean legs, or even finding your confidence, Rumble Boxing Fitness Class is where you need to be.
The Work
The boxing studio, located in NYC, offers 10 rounds of heat-fueled punches that make you want to beat up more and more.
They have Aqua training bags that you may use just like fight night. Aside from that, Rumble place also offers the best hip-hop and mash-ups pumping through its premium nightclub-quality sound system.
An enormous lighting system that will definitely hit you is all over the place to motivate you to get fit.
The Basic 6 Punches
There are 6 basic punches offered by Rumble:
Jab Punch
As described by the boxing arena, Jab punch is the long kiss goodnight and the hello that sets you up for the next punch. The speed and power of the execution of Jab can keep your opponent at a distance and prevent him from charging in. Jab punch is sensual, very quick, snappy, and intense.
How to do this basic punch? First, extend your lead hand in a straight horizontal line. Make sure to focus on the head or any body part of your opponent. Next, get power from your hips, legs, and core then turns your thumb down to the ground as you extend your hand. Lastly, bring your hand fast back to your cheek to protect your face.
Cross Punch
Rumble call this basic punch the super swipe and the power shot. It is a well-known punch that is usually thrown with your powerful hand the moment your opponent leads with his different hand.
This punch generates all the power coming from your hips, foot on the back, and core. (Cross punch also drives off of the ball of your foot located at the back).
Front and Back Hooks
This punch is a shot that rolls over your opponent's guard. To start with this, bring your elbow up to align your shoulder line and keep it at an angle of 90-degrees. Your hand must look like you are holding a cup of coffee or hitching.
Next, turn your hips into the blow and “squish the bug” with your foot on the same side position.
Front and Back Uppercuts
On the other hand, Rumble calls this strategy the Tyson. According to the group, uppercuts are the most fun punch to throw on our bags. Uppercuts are very useful when thrown at close reach because these basics are considered to cause more destruction when at close range.
Also, both front and back uppercuts are the power punch to the body and especially under the chin of your opponent.
