Purely Inspired contains 5 organic plant-based ingredients providing the core of its nutrition: alfalfa herb extract, spinach leaf, whole broccoli, flax seed, and blueberry fruit. This organic fruit and vegetable blend makes up 909mg of each serving.
Additionally, another 71mg per serving comes from an enzyme and probiotic blend consisting of papain, a digestive enzyme sourced from papaya, and LactoSpore-brand Bacillus coagulans, a probiotic that supports good gastrointestinal health by aiding the digestive process.
Additional ingredients include an organic protein blend containing pea protein and brown rice protein and flavoring with organic cocoa powder (for the chocolate-flavored shake) and cane sugar. Other flavorings and preservatives are sourced from organic ingredients as well.

Cons:
- Questionable Taste – Almost all of the 1-star reviews for this product mentioned the taste of Purely Inspired to be pretty bad. Adjectives like “chalky,” “nasty,” “terrible,” and others were thrown around with great abandon, indicating that the taste of this particular product might not be to your liking if you have a discerning palate.
Should You Buy Purely Inspired Organic Protein?
Purely Inspired looks like a great choice for anyone that wants to replace their diet with a healthy protein alternative that doesn’t rely on soy or whey as a source of that protein. Additionally, the all-organic ingredients will likely satisfy a large number of individuals; the added benefit of this product being 100% plant-based means that vegans and vegetarians alike can enjoy this Purely Inspired without guilt.
That being said, we can’t ignore the number of reviewers who have reported this product having a truly unpalatable taste. However that wasn’t a universal constant in our research, as just as many reviewers reported liking the taste as well.
In the end, we recommend giving Purely Inspired a try. Besides, at only around $20 per container, you’re not going to have to worry about breaking the bank – and if you don’t like it, you’re still paying a lot less than you would have paid for a more expensive brand of protein shake powder.
