PALETA Review – Should You Try It?
PALETA is a farm-to-table meal delivery service that promises to give you a supply of healthy, organic, sustainably-grown meals every week. Here’s our Paleta review.
What is PALETA?
PALETA is a meal delivery service that brings you foods and ingredients directly from a farm to your table. The service also provides organic juices and snacks.
Paleta is well-known for its cleanses – including the Purify Cleanse or the Mind & Body Cleanse. You order a cleanse, and the company delivers everything you need for that cleanse directly to your door.
Paleta’s meals and juices are created by Chef Kelly Boyer and a team of nutritionists. The company is based in Los Angeles. The stated goal of the company is to provide farm-to-table meal delivery with locally-grown, non-toxic ingredients.
In addition to meal delivery service, Paleta also does catering (including plenty of celebrity catering events across Los Angeles).
How Does a Paleta Cleanse Work?
To start a Paleta cleanse, you first need to pick the cleanse that works best for your dietary needs and preferences. These cleanses are all food cleanses – they’re not juice cleanses.
You can pick from vegan, vegetarian, and meat options, for example. You can also easily customize which meals you receive on the cleanse – so if you don’t like fish, for example, then you can easily swap it out.
Some of the foods and drinks you’ll eat on the a Paleta Mind & Body Cleanse include:
- Purify-V Powder: A juice powder packed with amino acids, antioxidants, protein, and potassium
- Stuffed Orange Bell Pepper: The stuffed pepper meal comes filled with quinoa, black beans, kale, and carrots on a bed of spinach and pico de gallo.
- Tea: Paleta recommends drinking tea to complete your detox and cleanse routine.
- Burgers: Lentil-based veggie burger patties with a pineapple salsa and broccoli
- Nuts and Fruits: You can snack on mixed nuts and fruits throughout the day.
- Chili: Paleta makes its own vegan-friendly chili
Keep in mind that the above cleanse was chosen by a vegan who also eats yogurt. You can read full details of that cleanse at Glamour.com.
Overall, that reviewer seemed to enjoy her cleansing experience and says she felt slimmer and less bloated after a week of following the Paleta plan.
The Paleta meal plans recommend eating something every 2 to 3 hours. Most of the reviews we see online indicate that dieters don’t get too hungry while following a Paleta meal plan or cleanse.

About Paleta
Paleta was created by executive chef Kelly Boyer. Kelly survived a rare, advanced-stated cancer and attributed her recovery to her changing diet. She claims she was able to make a full recovery after changing her nutrition and diet.
Inspired by her own success, Kelly created Paleta back in 2005 in her own kitchen. She focused on putting healthy twists on haute cuisine using ingredients sourced from local farms, cruelty-free ranches, and responsible fisheries.
Paleta holds the title of becoming California’s first certified green kitchen. You can learn more about Paleta and Kelly Boyer on their website: Paleta.com
