NootroCell Retain Review – Worth Taking?
NootroCell Retain is a brand new nootropic available exclusively online at a price of $50 per bottle. Read our NootroCell Retain review to find out if this is the right supplement to improve your cognitive ability. You may find the same product called Nootrocell as well as Nootroretain.
What is NootroCell Retain?
NootroCell Retain is a nootropic that promises to boost your cognitive ability. By taking it daily, you can restore your brain to the power it had when you were younger.
After the age of 30, our brains consistently lose power as we get older and older. That makes it harder to focus, harder to memorize information, and harder to stay energized. NootroCell Retain promises to solve all of these problems.
The creators of Retain specifically advertise the following benefits:
- May help increase short term memory
- May help increase long term memory
- May help improve your energy levels
As you can see, all of these benefits say “may”. The manufacturer never actually says that its supplement will help any of these cognitive areas. This is likely to avoid legal trouble. But it’s still a bit worrying. Would you take a painkiller if a said that it “may reduce headache pain”? Probably not.
With that red flag in mind, let’s take a look at how NootroCell Retain claims to work.
How Does NootroCell Retain Work?
Nootroretain, like many nootropic supplements sold online today, gives us very little information about how it works, why it works, and how its ingredients help support your brain.
Retain, for example, simply throws out sentences like this and hopes you believe them:
“Advanced formula is built to give you a boost of energy as soon as you take it and keep you alert and focused throughout the day.”
“May help to increase memory recall in men and women of just about all ages.”
“One of a kind formula was engineered to ensure your brain gets all of the ingredients and vitamins it needs in the exact dosage it needs to help improve all areas of cognitive growth.”
This is what happens when you read descriptions written by people who have no actual knowledge of cognitive science. Your brain is the most complex organ in your body. It’s delicate and can be easily affected by different nutrients. With that in mind, it’s not usually a good idea to take a supplement based on so little science. When the person making your supplement appears to have no idea what they’re talking about, it’s a bad idea to put that supplement into your body.
NootroCell Retain Ingredients
The official NootroCell Retain website has an “Ingredients” section. You may expect to find a bunch of nootropic ingredients and stimulants in that ingredients list
In reality, however, Nootroretain is just a fish oil supplement! Here’s what the ingredients list looks like:
— 1000mg of Fish Oil containing 300mg of Omega 3 Fatty Acids (180mg EPA/120mg DHA)
That’s it! This is just a fish oil supplement – like the fish oil supplement you could buy at any Walmart or from Amazon for $10 to $20.
That’s not totally a bad thing. Fish oil and omega 3 fatty acids have been linked to significant nootropic benefits. Fatty acids are used by your brain to form the myelin sheath, which is the protective coating that forms around your neurons. A weak myelin sheath is associated with all different types of cognitive disorders, including Alzheimer’s and poor memory.
The dosage with NootroCell Retain is a big problem: typically, fish oil supplements contain a dose over 1,000mg for maximum health benefits. The top-selling omega 3 fish oil on Amazon, for example, contains 2000mg of fish oil with 1400mg of omega 3 fatty acids in each 2 capsule serving. There are 180 capsules in each package, and it’s priced at $26.57.
Based on the weak ingredients and the high price tag, it’s hard to see how NootroCell Retain bases its bold claims.
NootroCell Retain Pricing
NootroCell Retain is priced significantly higher than virtually any other fish oil supplement on the market. Here’s how pricing breaks down:
- 1 Bottle (1 Month Supply of 60 Capsules): $53.98
- 3 Bottles: $104.97
- 5 Bottles: $144.95
As you can see, the price drops significantly when you buy more bottles of NootroCell Retain. However, it’s still priced significantly higher than any other omega fatty acid supplements on the market.
Who Makes NootroCell Retain?
NootroCell Retain is made by a company named North Media, LLC.
You can get in touch with the company at [email protected]. The company lists its company headquarters as:
1679 S. Dupont Hwy, Ste 100
Dover, DE 19901
North Media, LLC does not appear to have made or released any other nootropic supplements. There’s very little information about the company available online.
Should You Use NootroCell Retain to Boost your Cognitive Ability?
NootroCell Retain is an odd supplement. It’s just an omega 3 fatty acid supplement, but it makes enormous claims about its ability to boost your cognitive ability. It’s true: omega fatty acids are linked to increased cognition and memory. However, NootroCell Retain gives you omega fatty acids at such a weak dose that it’s unlikely you’ll experience any of those benefits.
Making NootroCell Retain look so much worse is that it’s priced higher than almost any other fatty acid supplement on the market. You can buy omega 3 fatty acid supplements from Amazon for less than one quarter of the price of NootroCell Retain – and they come with a higher dosage.
Ultimately, you shouldn't pay $50 for 60 capsules of a weak omega fatty acid supplement. Yes, omega fatty acids come with real cognitive benefits. But you’d be a fool to pay $50 for such a low-dosage product like this.
Would like to return 4 bottles that I didn’t want and have my money returned to my account. I could not afford the 295,00 you stole from me. I only wanted to try the one risk free bottle. If it worked, great, then I would budget for the product. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. A very small income and I feel I’ve been taken advantage of. Please return my money as you were not exactly honest with the free trial.
