What is Miracle Alert?
Miracle Alert is a medical device that is worn on your body around the home. If you fall and cannot get up, you can press the button on Miracle Alert to quickly alert emergency personnel.
The device can also be activated for burglaries, medical emergencies, fires, floods, and other situations.
Using the device, you can contact emergency services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Before contacting emergency services, your call goes through a Miracle Alert dispatcher. These dispatchers have access to your medical history and your emergency contact list. So when you press the alert button, you can choose to either contact family, friends, or emergency services.
If the dispatcher believes it’s in an emergency – like if you are unable to respond – then they’ll immediately dispatch emergency services.
How Does Miracle Alert Work?
Miracle Alert is a two part system.
There’s the main device that can be placed anywhere in your home. That device has a large “Emergency” button on it along with a speaker.
There’s also a pendant or watch device that pairs with the main device. You wear that pendant or watch around the house. If you experience an emergency, you press the button on that device for immediate assistance.
