The Mighty Mug is a line of cups that help you to avoid spilling, no matter how clumsy you are. There are products for every situation, whether you’re bringing your coffee to work or hosting party with your favorite wine.
What is the Mighty Mug?
Being clumsy is a common occurrence that happens to everyone. You may have a long day that leaves you tired, or you may have been slightly “overserved” on a night out, but the fact is, accidents happen. However, you don’t want to lose your drink whenever it’s bumped slightly. If you’re a parent, you know more than anything that spilt milk is something your child will definitely cry over. Luckily, you can finally stop those messes with your own purchase of the Mighty Mug.
The Mighty Mug is advertised as the “unspillable” cup. The design of this cup style offers a type of resistance called SmartGrip Technology to keep your cup in place, with vacuum insulation to ensure that you get the right temperature at all times. The majority of the cup options come with lids, which gives you an easy backup in case you drop the cup or push it over. Even though the grip will hold it in place, you will still be able to pick it up with ease.
All the options from Mighty Mug are safe to wash in the dishwasher, allowing you to wash it with the rest of your dishes. You don’t need to use any special dish soap or washing techniques to ensure that the rubberized grip remains intact. Whether you are prone to accidents, or you have a condition that makes it difficult to control your movements, the Mighty Mug has a solution for you.
How Does the Mighty Mug Stop Spilling?
SmartGrip Technology is an upscale way for the company to detail to consumers the way that this product maintains the stability of each cup. When you put your cup down on a flat surface, the contact creates an airlock with the base. This airlock basically acts almost as a suction for the cup, which is why the grip is so firm, regardless of the bumps against it.
You don’t need to do anything to activate this effect because the bottom of the cups feature a special design that will lock into place the moment it is set down. However, you will need to make sure the surface is smooth and flat, which means it will not work on textured surfaces or on some type of place settings.
Even with the silicone structure of the base, you will never have to worry about it wearing out over time. The bottom of the cup is built to last for the lifetime of the cup, so you shouldn’t have to worry about damaging it over time. The only way it can be compromised is if it’s damaged intentionally, which you wouldn’t want to do to your brand-new cup.
