Force Factor Cannabol Review

Force Factor Cannabol is an intra-workout bodybuilding supplement that promises to give your body the energy it needs to complete your workout. Here’s our Force Factor Cannabol review.

What is Force Factor Cannabol?

Force Factor Cannabol is a nutritional supplement that works as an intra-workout. It claims to give your cells the energy they need to complete your workout and maximize your gains.

If you’re curious about the name, Cannabol actually has nothing to do with cannabis or cannabidiol or any of the other products we’ve seen that use “Canna-“ to start their names. Instead, Cannabol is a combination of cannibal and anabolic.

The “cannibal” part of the name comes from the fact that the supplement includes the same amino acid ratio as human muscle, which means you’re kinda eating yourself (like a cannibal – get it?). And the anabolic part refers to the body’s metabolic growth cycle.

Now that we’ve cleared that up, some of the specific benefits advertised by Force Factor include:

— Improve Muscle Anabolism
— Prevent Catabolism
— Improve Recovery Times

As the manufacturer explains, these benefits help you “recover faster, train harder, and get bigger.”

All of these benefits sound great – especially for those of us who get a little bit tired in the middle of a workout.

But does Force Factor Cannabol actually work? Let’s take a look at its ingredients and processes.

How Does Force Factor Cannabol Work?

Force Factor Cannabol promises to flood the cells of your body with the nutrients they need to remain strong and active.

Those nutrients include things like riboflavin, vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12. Force Factor Cannabol contains just over 100% of your daily value of all of these ingredients in one 14 gram serving.

Meanwhile, other ingredients include niacin (50% DV), folic acid (63% DV), and phosphorus (8% DV). There are also trace amounts of calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium.

Together, all of these vitamins and minerals only add up to about 20% of the ingredients in each serving. The remaining ingredients are found within an “Anabolic Amino Acid” matrix, which makes up 11,636mg of each 14,000mg serving.

That amino acid matrix includes key ingredients like 4000mg of L-leucine as well as popular aminos like L-Lysine, L-Phenylalanine, and L-Threonine. There’s also something called an “Ultimate Cell Protection Compound” that uses ingredients like betaine anhydrous (1500mg) and an electrolyte blend.

One thing that Force Factor Cannabol doesn’t contain is caffeine. So if you want to avoid taking more stimulants in the middle of your workout, then Force Factor Cannabol might be a valid option.

Force Factor Cannabol Ingredients

Here’s what the full ingredients chart for Cannabol looks like:

Force Factor Cannabol Ingredients

As you can see, we only know the specific dosage of a handful of the ingredients. The remaining ingredients are hidden inside huge proprietary formulas.

Typically, a manufacturer wants to advertise its dosage of different ingredients. Force Factor, for whatever reason, rarely advertises its dosage information for any of its bodybuilding. This can make it difficult to assess the benefits of the supplement.

Fortunately, some of the ingredients do come with dosage information.

L-Leucine, for example, is listed as having a 4000mg dosage. If you check the recommended dosage on Examine.com, you’ll find that L-Leucine is typically taken in a range of 2,000 to 5,000mg, which makes Cannabol towards the upper end of the dosage range – which is great.

An ingredient called betaine anhydrous also makes up a significant amount (1500mg) of each 14,000mg serving. What exactly is betaine anhydrous?

Betaine anhydrous is actually a naturally-occurring chemical within the body. It’s used for a variety of applications today. It’s found in toothpaste, for example, and the FDA has approved it for treatment of “high urine levels of a chemical called homocysteine”. WebMD.com also mentions that the chemical helps to metabolize homocysteine, which is a chemical that plays a critical function throughout the body, including your blood, bones, eyes, heart, nerves, and brain.

The remaining amino acids are popular BCAAs you can find in many different protein powders and intra-workout supplements and are well-known for their ability to boost muscle recovery times.

About Force Factor

Force Factor is a Boston-based company launched by two Harvard grads back in 2009. The company claims to employ a team of Harvard- and MIT-trained researchers who are responsible for creating all of the formulas made by the company.

Some of the other popular supplements made by Force Factor include Test X180 testosterone booster, VolcaNO nitric oxide booster, and GainZzz.

Ultimately, Cannabol appears to be an effective – if pricey – intra-workout powder that floods your body with amino acids and energy-boosting vitamins like vitamins B6 and B12. If you need an extra boost in the middle of your workout, then Cannabol may be able to help.
