Ellura Ingredients
There is one active ingredient in Ellura: 36 milligrams of proanthocyanidins (PAC), a phytochemical sourced from cranberries.
Several clinical studies into PAC and its role in providing protection from UTIs has revealed that a 36mg dose of PAC is the required amount to trigger the anti-adhesive effect.
Ellura differs from run-of-the-mill cranberry extract pills and tablets designed to help shorten or prevent UTIs in that, clinically, eating raw cranberries, drinking cranberry juice, or even taking supplements with cranberry extract are unable to provide the amounts of PAC needed to have a therapeutic effect on UTIs.

That being said, the steep price of Ellura is a major roadblock to a large number of people.
For someone who just suffers from the occasional UTI, having one box or bottle of Ellura on hand is likely to be helpful for the few days at a time you’ll need to take the supplement; this will enable you to stretch out your supply longer, lowering the overall cost a bit.
However, if you are a constant UTI sufferer, the fact that Ellura works so well is going to be a major drawback because of how fast you’ll go through it in order to keep your UTIs at bay.
The tragedy of Ellura working better than antibiotics – and being safer than them when it comes to dealing with antibiotic-resistant bacteria – is that antibiotics are nowhere near as expensive, especially since a full course of antibiotics are usually covered by even the most rudimentary of medical insurance coverage.
Overall, if you have the money to burn on Ellura and you are constantly fighting off UTIs, this product is likely to be your best bet to get some relief.
