CinSulin – Water, Heat & Cinnamon For Stable Blood Sugar Levels?

on

Supplements and vitamins are in half the homes in the United States. We take them for a number of reasons including weight loss, muscle gains, metabolism boosting, testosterone gains, fat loss, and increased energy.

They come with all kinds of ingredients including caffeine anhydrous, beta-alanine, arginine, calcium, sodium, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and botanicals, just to name a few.

And the labels are not really helpful when they hide behind proprietary blends which is carte blanche to put whatever you want in the supplement and not have to divulge everything. So, what do you do? Read, research, and find what is right for you.

One thing that should be made clear about supplements it that the Food and Drug Administration does not regulate what is in supplements, nor does it investigate or substantiate any claims made by these products.

As consumers, it is our responsibility to research and evaluate the supplements we use so we are informed consumers.

New trends and new products pop up all the time.

One such product is CinSulin.

What Is CinSulin?

CinSulin is an extract made from heated water and cinnamon bark. The company has a website that describes its applications.

The label boasts a few of the product’s claims:

  • It is a safe and effective dietary supplement made with only water, heat and cinnamon. It has the only patented water extract of cinnamon that is clinically studied to maintain blood sugar levels within the normal range.
  • It claims it can be used for general health, wellness and fitness.
  • I would like to add that both of the previous statements are followed by the following statement: “This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.” which is printed on a lot of supplements.

It also states that it is not a replacement for any drug or a substitute for a healthy lifestyle that includes a diet and exercise program. Individual results may vary, and consult your doctor.

These statements are followed with a recommendation for a healthy eating program that is based on whole foods and a recommendation to exercise 30 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week, and to get 8 hours sleep nightly.

Though it contains cinnamon, CinSulin and cinnamon differ in a few distinct ways:

  • The process – CinSulin is made by mixing water and cinnamon bark, then heating and pressurizing the mixture to produce an extract. This process also sterilizes the extract.
  • The extract content – the extract is concentrated and unwanted substances are largely removed, making CinSulin have a yield ratio of 10:1, which is equal to 2 capsules containing the benefits of 10 typical 500 milligram plain table cinnamon capsules.
  • The product – Table cinnamon is sometimes ground-up cinnamon bark that contains water-soluble and fat-soluble compounds
