CLK is a weight loss supplement made by Cellucor. It claims to use multiple proven weight loss ingredients to help complement your weight loss goals. Here’s our review.
What is Cellucor CLK?
Cellucor CLK is a weight loss supplement that uses ingredients like conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) mixed with raspberry ketones, amino acids, and Slimpro Protein.
Together, these ingredients promise to help support a healthy weight loss routine. By taking 3 softgel tablets per day, you can deliver a strong dose of “four all-star ingredients”, explains Cellucor.
Unlike many other weight loss supplements on the market today, Cellucor CLK contains absolutely no stimulants.
The supplement can be taken on its own, although Cellucor claims that it works best when combined with the company’s other supplements, including Super HD and Alpha Amino.
How does Cellucor CLK actually work? Let’s take a closer look.
How Does Cellucor CLK Work?
Cellucor CLK works by providing four key weight loss benefits in one convenient supplement. Those weight loss benefits include boosting your metabolism, suppressing your appetite, and managing your weight. Typically, you see diet pills advertise one or two of these benefits. Cellucor CLK advertises all three.
The power of Cellucor CLK comes from something it calls the “4 pillars”, which includes each of the following ingredients:
— Slimpro: This is a protein powder that contains “protein hydrolysates of blue whiting”. The ingredient is listed as “naturally derived” and promises to help trigger feelings of satiety within your body. What is blue whiting, you ask? It’s a type of fish. So it’s kind of like fish-based protein powder.
— L-Carnitine Tartrate: L-Carnitine Tartrate is an amino acid that plays crucial roles all throughout your body. However, it plays a particularly important role at transporting fatty acids for energy.
— Razberi-K: Razberi-K is a raspberry ketone formula. Although raspberry ketones aren’t backed by any significant scientific evidence, Cellucor claims they help to break down fat and support healthy weight loss.
— Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA): CLA is one of the most exciting ingredients in the weight loss industry. Your body uses it as food for fuel while also boosting lean muscle mass. Research is actively ongoing, although there’s more and more evidence that CLA is a valid and proven weight loss ingredient.
Cellucor doesn’t list the dosage information of any ingredient except for CLA. instead, all ingredients are labeled as part of a “Stimulant Free Toning Blend”, with a total of 1014mg spread across all of the above ingredients. Those are the only active ingredients listed.
Fortunately, Cellucor does tell us that there’s 1.7g of CLA in each 3 capsule serving. As you’ll read below, that dosage is important for verifying the weight loss benefits of Cellucor CLK.
Keep in mind that the 1014mg of formula is what you get from three capsules of Cellucor CLK. The manufacturer recommends you take 6 capsules per day.
Does Cellucor CLK Actually Work?
Cellucor frequently cites one study called “Efficacy of conjugated linoleic acid for reducing fat mass: a meta-analysis in humans” as evidence to support the weight loss benefits of Cellucor CLK.
That study was an analysis of 18 CLA studies. Researchers analyzed the results of all of these studies, compared the information, looked at dosage, and looked at outcomes. They concluded their analysis by stating that a dose of 3.2 grams of CLA per day could lead to “modest loss in body fat in humans”.
There’s 1.7 grams of CLA in each 3 capsule serving of Cellucor CLK, and the manufacturer recommends taking 6 capsules per day for a total serving of 3.4 grams of CLA – which is just above the dosage observed to support weight loss.
Based on this information, and the fact that Cellucor CLK contains other weight loss ingredients with their own evidence, we can assume that Cellucor CLK has some genuine weight loss benefits.
Cellucor CLK Ingredients
Cellucor’s ingredients list looks like this:
–– 1.7g of CLA
–– 1014mg of L-Carnitine Tartrate, Razberi-K, Raspberry Ketones, Slimpro Protein Hydrolysates of Blue Whiting
— Other Ingredients: Gelatin, glycerin, soy lecithin (soy), purified water, beeswax, sorbitol, natural and artificial flavor, maltodextrin, Arabic gum, titanium dioxide, FD&C Red #3, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Blue #1, Protease, NAOH
As you can see, Cellucor has crammed a surprising number of different food dyes into the supplement, not to mention the artificial flavors. If artificial dyes, flavors, and other unnatural ingredients bother you, then Cellucor CLK may not be the right choice for you.
Cellucor CLK Pricing
Cellucor CLK was once available in 60 capsule or 90 capsule varieties, although the 60 capsule package is no longer available anywhere we could find online. Here’s how pricing breaks down:
— 90 Capsules: $69.99
This is the pricing from the official Cellucor CLK website. You may be able to find better deals elsewhere online, as Cellucor CLK is sold by a wide variety of retailers. Bodybuilding.com, for example, sells the 90 capsule package for $39.99 and they also have a 3 bottle promotion for $79.98.
Cellucor recommends you take 6 capsules per day: 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. So one bottle will last 15 days when taken as directed.

Should You Take Cellucor CLK to Lose Weight?
Cellucor CLK is a weight loss supplement that appears to come with some genuine weight loss benefits. The formula uses proven ingredients, the best of which is conjugated linoleic acid, or CLA.
A review of 18 studies found that a daily dose of 3.2g of CLA could lead to significant weight loss. Cellucor CLK has a daily dose of 3.4 grams of CLA, which means it should lead to similar weight loss benefits.
The only real “catch” with Cellucor CLK is that the manufacturer recommends you take 6 capsules per day, although the product’s labeling leads you to believe that you should take 3 capsules per day. In reality, each bottle of Cellucor CLK will last you for just 15 days when taken as advertised (and you’ll need to take 6 capsules per day to hit the recommended dose of CLA).
If you don’t mind that catch, then Cellucor CLK appears to be an effective way to lose weight when taken as advertised. Another fantastic way to lose weight is by using Forskolin.
