There’s a lot of propaganda floating around about harmful chemicals when it comes to the production of food.
The proponents of this propaganda will have you believe that anything synthetics is horrible for you while anything that’s all natural is a gift from God.
I understand where this perspective comes from. There are a lot of harmful chemicals out there that companies try to position as totally safe.
I get it.
But when you get to the point where you’re demonizing everything science creates, well, you then become and extremist. And intelligence doesn’t live at extremes.
To prove my point, I present to you a weed destroyer that certainly doesn’t deserve to wear the “dangerous” moniker. This chemical, as I will prove, is one of the reasons our society is so abundant.

There are many benefits to be had when using Atrazine to produce crops without the interference of harmful weeds. Some of these said benefits will surely surprise you.
For starters, Atrazine is not only important for the US, it’s important for the Globe and it’s food supplies. Quick side note: When something is used globally, that usually means it’s super important.
As you should know by now, weeds are detrimental to the production of crops. More weeds equals less crops produced.

One of these studies include gathering 3200 frogs and studying them to see whether or not Atrazine has negatively effected their health.
I’m guessing from the general tone of this article you know what the answer is. No effect whatsoever.
Atrazine helps wildlife by preventing soil runoff. Soil Runoff buries fish and crustacean habitats and greatly reduces sunlight which negatively effects the food chain in these environments.
Because of the use of Atrazine, No-Till farming isn’t necessary which makes soil runoff less likely to occur, effectively protecting wildlife.
You see, there’s absolutely no downside to using this stuff.

Atrazine has greatly improved the quality of life for us humans and there’s no evidence of that stopping.
